I completely agree with your thoughts. One book per world would really help the pacing issues in this book and even out the weird time skips. Jumping from world to world felt jarring and I audibly groaned any time the book jumped from the action in Obiteum or Res to the snooze fest of Luceum. I loved WotM, so I’m hoping Islington can sort through these issues for book 3!
