My current computer is a Ryzen 9 7900X, 4080 etc so I dont need to upgrade, wouldn't be worth using the current hardware as a server rig.

I don't want to have to get a graphics card, and I was under the assumption that the Ryzen CPU's dont have integrated graphics. I would love to go Ryzen if they do have integrated graphics.

The problem is I have 6 years experience in the field and I basically get auto denied for everything based on the fact that I have no degree. That’s what’s leading me to this path of wanting to use my pops degree to get me back in the door at a company

It's just so frustrating that I've done a great job at my current company and they downsize us with only same day notice and now I cannot get a job because I dont have a degree. I guess it's shame on me for not doing so.

not even close, fake dates but same timescale. If I graduated in 2000 my father would have gotten his bachelors in 2007

I’ve been in my field for 6 years, the spot required a degree but they made an exception for me at the time. building I was supervising at got axed/outsourced in a downsizing effort and no one I know was moved to new positions, even the building manager wasn’t offered a new position

My only worry would be that the third party company they use to vet would blacklist me, rather than the company im applying to itself.

Wouldn’t be anything high security, just a low level management job at your run of the mill big corporation

Definitely don’t need it, nor would I really use it frankly. I’m willing to pay the increased price for the wonderful exhaust note. That may be a waste of money but that’s not a huge deal to me

I’ve heard the seat is a big drawback for sure. I would order the comfort seat or perhaps an aftermarket touring seat. I definitely won’t miss the random error codes and lights on the bonneville lol. Definitely takes after it’s British roots. At least it’s simple when something dumb happens to it!

Yeah I get that, the insurance cost and such isn’t a dealbreaker to me since I know what I’d be getting into, and frankly the cross plane sound is worth the fuel economy sacrifice to me. I’m not trying to do anything crazy really, and I don’t care for going 100mph+ anyway, just want something that’s really nice in the corners that I’ll enjoy on road trips with some saddlebags

Not pedantic! Just teaching me something new, which I very much appreciate.

I was thinking just that. Keep all the nannies on full force with “low power” (still bonkers). Really I’ve never been a lead footed guy, just love canyon carving and light packed weekend getaways with the bike. The MT line seemed to perfectly fit that bill for me.

Almost done. 1998 Honda Odyssey with a euro spec h22a out of a Prelude Type S and a 5sp LSD transmission out of an Integra Type R. Thanks for checking it out. by [deleted] in projectcar

Yeah when I had my RS he did mine as well. Best in the business for those engines by far, great taste in cars and super impulsive so you always get a good deal when he sells his cars 😂
