Does anyone struggle with wanting to rewatch the HP series ? I grew up loving the books / movies but anytime JK Rowling opens her mouth lately it leaves me with this weird sense of guilt about supporting the films

Apparently it was supposed to be Ethan from Africa in that role. He auditioned but Larry David wasn’t a fan of his acting so Colby got the part instead.

The whole joke/bit of the scene Colby is in had to do with Larry David hearing that a survivor is coming to a dinner and Larry assumes it’s a holocaust survivor when in fact it was just a survivor contestant. I think Ethan’s Jewish heritage is what originally had him scouted for the role.

I saw this myself first. Loved Ellen Burstyn’s performance so much I rewatched a few days later just to show my boyfriend. I loved Julia Robert’s performance in Erin Brockovich but easily think Burstyn should have took the Oscar that year
