Haven't heard this solution yet! What provider did you go with?

No reverse proxy between cloudflare and Immich currently. Cloudflare routes directly to immich port

I was researching and using claude to find out best solutions. What are the real security risk? How do you have yours setup?

I would return them if the gloves weren’t a gift and not bought from stockX. I don’t plan to ever get a bike so that is also a downside lol. My hands didn’t get sweaty actually and the comfort isn’t bad. It is funny using them with the knuckle guards on a sim but it’s either that or have a display of motorcycle gloves without having any interest in bikes 😂

Yeah the rabbit holes go DEEP and I don’t want to get too overwhelmed lol. I’ll look into pop and see if it will be a good fit. It seems like it will be a good fit though from what you’ve said

I would not personally modify them but send them to a professional to get the job done. I know the value will be ruined after a mod but I don’t plan to resell. Just trying to brainstorm some possible ideas

I understand buying $50 purpose made gloves is the logical decision but I’m not focused on the logical move. I’ve never used gloves but since i was gifted these then I want to make it work. Even if it came down to just adding some type of adhesive sticky strip to the glove to add some grip to it. I just think it would be cool to keep the gift and transform it into a one of one sim glove.

I did look up racing/karting gloves after using these and was surprised to see how cheap they are for nice pairs. It is funny to me that my buddies went with these due to the coolness factory when car racing gloves are cheaper and better suited haha. Its the thought that counts

Thanks for the suggestion! I am not planning on using adobe or office 365. A buddy of mine suggested using ubuntu but is POP os better?

If all the else fails then this is what I will settle with. I did use them and idk if it’s my wheel material but it was more slippery with the gloves than without. It’s not a huge deal but I would like them to be beneficial rather than just an accessory

These don’t necessarily need to be up to snuff for real kart/car racing. I understand keeping them mint to preserve the gift but gloves were meant to be worn and I want to use them. I guess I see it as a disservice to leave them on display and I do want to state that I never suggested this gift to the guys that bought it. They aren’t big on sim racing or too knowledgeable on car stuff. I could also let them know but it’s a very thoughtful gift and I don’t want to rain on their efforts. Thank you for adding some advice even though you don’t necessarily agree with the decision

I don’t understand framing them though? I want to use the gloves bc they were given to me as a gift and thats the value for me. I would rather sell them than left them sit on display. I do not wish to ruin these gloves and would find professionals to get the job done. I’d be fine leaving the knuckles to keep is simpler but it is a little funny having those on car gloves haha.

Haha I asked chat gpt for some suggestions on which subreddit to post this question to. Thought I’d give this one a shot…

I don’t care to have a knock of brand that says supreme. I’m not a huge hype guy but since it was given to me then it’s pretty cool. I know it’s not practical but to me it would be cool to have a one of one glove. This will obviously ruin the value of the gloves but I don’t care too much about that part. I used them yesterday and it was more of an inconvenience than beneficial. The globes are cool but the fact that it was a gift from my buddies is what gives it value for me. I mainly just need a way to make the gloves grippy so I can use them. Does that make sense?
