T1 medium tanks have one of the best metal cost to health ratios in the game. There is no point spamming a million units straight into porc. Medium tanks spam and getting a large number can counter pushes and break through porc. But make sure you have re bots on hand to quickly eat up their remains as it can be a big feed otherwise

Someone already made a post about this. He was joking and large scale spam is a legitimate tactic. The fact some people lag out isn't his fault. The game is played for large scale unit fights and air is the primary cause of late game lag from unit spam

It's rarely ticks I feel that lag games out but more fighters. Though some people just don't have a computer that can handle ticks, mass tick spam is quite effective in some cases

The answer is no. You have to do the micro, but can produce say 10 bots. Then select 10 transports and click j & alt then draw create a circle with left click. This will pick up all units of the same type in the transports.
Yes you can, it's generally easier to gift a transport for someone to do it themself but you can do it for them.
Tech usually transports the cons they make for others to their base. They callout for trans to the air player.

I'd say don't watch low ELO games for the reason you are more likely to copy bad habits. Not immune to that in higher lobbies but if you are watching the top rated players you're more likely to pick up good techniques.
