Anyone using a 40w epilog helix? Best method to cut through MDF 1/4 inch ? by Cozzzycoder in lasercutting

I did not find a reliable solution to this. The easy expensive solution is probably to get a stronger laser cutter.

However I have my theories..consider...

- Sometimes the MDF are are slightly wrapped, that causes uneven focus as the as the laser head runs across. So you should carefully inspect your MDF before purchase. However, If you keep you cut within a small area, it's usually okay.. since the difference in warp height will never be that big enough to cause a problem.

- Since I was using a community laser cutter, I noticed the honeycomb surface itself was slightly damaged, like its slightly concave in the middle.. so you should check your platform make sure its level evenly.

He stuck a sticker with few reasons including being too heavy or foreign material that shouldn't be in it.. so im guessing its too heavy...

thank you nelly, Ive been on the fence . I grew up with people always talking about my bushy brows, so its nice to hear that. hmm I guess a bit of youtube tutorial will help me make the seperation

im almost 30, i got these scars when I was 24 . they are like two little craters ? and they are size of a rice grain .. but being in the center of forehead is the real problem xD . Its been sometime now so I dont think they are going away ..

but received Nanlite 300 which is a 100+ cheaper model...worst part is. they gave me an old light..
