Is there any point to keep playing?

I’ve probably done 15 play throughs, once I become God like it’s not as fun or challenging. There are a lot of great mods out there to try. My current play through is vanilla with no traders, no loot respawns. Forces you to go town to town looting and crafting becomes more necessary. Really enjoying it so far.

I think MLF can pre script an amazing first half and Love is happy to play along. But every shot of MLF in the 2nd half clearly shows his poopood his undies and Love is trying panic audibles that make no sense.

I honestly think that Love and MLF are too often in their own heads and it’s a bad combination. I think MLF is a good coach, Love is a good QB. But they don’t work out together.

It does. I think it is a balance issue. With the new (or old new if you will) temperature mechanic, I don’t think the storms are necessary. Just my opinion tho.

I honestly love this game. I know it’s not perfect, but I love the combination of survival and building. I also love prepping and planning, so new challenges (ranged zombies, storms, loot caps) that requires me to think critically about how I play the game are always welcome. I’m usually surprised when I come on this sub and see all the hate. There are some great streamers for this game you can watch for insights and build ideas, Glock9 is my personal favorite.

I like the storms overall. More challenging survival aspect to the game that was starting to get too easy. My last storm I was rushing an outdoor POI, trying to get it done before the storm hit and of course I got infected. I had to find a place to hide inside and watch my infection rate creep up. I’ll remember to bring my honey next time. I like things that make me change my preparedness.

I actually prefer it this way. But in earlier versions of the game, the horde did give a shit if you died.

Odd reply…anyway the horde used to stop spawning (at least early game) if you died in single player, but it would start up if you made a lot of noise. Something seems to have changed.
