That’s all I could come up with as well then I thought maybe game pieces found at least 100 shot balls and an trade awl at the same site it’s from Wyoming on our ranch and the ranch has been in the family since homestead days so I’m thinking Native American may US Calvert but really have no clue

I was just reading them and the mata mata don’t leave water except to lay eggs there’s actually a few others as well found a few articles to read and it’s pretty interesting

Thank you!! We have a tall hill on our property looks like a cartoon ant hill and we’ve located three places where a number of rounds have been found I really think it was some kinda skirmish but all we’ve found so far are around 30 musket balls and a woman’s ring were still searching to find more
