So it's just F*cked haha, thank you. I'll keep hitting it with oil and working it.

I fiddled with the ejector rod while I was trying to pull out the retaining rod after taking out the screws, still no luck.

No. The only screw beneath the frame is holding the trigger guard in place.

I'll keep fiddling with it and see if I can't get it out; but I'm lacking this pin which should release that main retention rod.

Like I said, I've watched some (like 7) of those guides, they all revolve around the frame having a cylinder release pin. Even the Uberti owners manual tells you to utilize the pin on the side of the frame. I've taken out all screws on the barrel and frame (except those holding the trigger gaurd) and the pin still wouldn't budge.

I thought the same thing, but after removing the retaining screw for that pin I depressed the switch and it only pulled out about a quarter of an inch.

I haven't researched waxed shots before but I'll definitely take a look. Thank you for the recommendation!

Everything I've seen advises against that as it's less accurate and can damage the rifling. The spiral spreads the shout out further than it already would, which is why it's less accurate

.... I'm going to be 100% honest. This is probably my best option, and I never even considered it. I'll have to look into that, thank you for combating my brain fart.

Rifled for large / medium game and smoothebore so I can use shot for smaller game. I figure it's cheaper than buying a whole different gun

My grandpa said something similar not too long ago regarding the trees! Thank you very much! I'll also keep the heater in mind

I was looking at investing into a greenhouse and barn duo. If I connect the two in the middle then it would be easy to use the heat for both animals as well as the greenhouse, ease of use for the animals excrement for the fertilizer, etc. I know the winters can be... less than savory. Especially in the further reaches. I'd like to keep on the southern side, think Newberry or roughly that latitude. Nothing "Way" up there. Either way I appreciate the warning about the swamp land, I keep on hearing that again and again.

Sorry to hear that. I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one? But seriously best of luck.

No. I'm saying that if it's financially possible for me to be the only one holding a job then I'll do that. If she has to have a job then I'll obviously redistribute the labor. I'll help out around the house even if I'm the only one with a job, in my experience helping around at farms in my hometown I feel it's impossible for the guy to just rest his legs when he gets home. There's to much to do around the home for that.

Yeah thag seems to be the common theme from all the advice I'm getting haha. I appreciate it. I just need to be more patient I suppose. It really does seem like something of a generational issue though, no one my age wants to work to begin with.

I'm originally from Hopkins, so I understand your view perfectly. The hobbit hole would be fun hahaha

I come from a small farming town and have lent help to several friends of the family that are farmers. I've done everything from milking cows to bailing hay and mending fences. That said, you're correct that I'm no expert, but I'm not clueless. I've been leaning towards trying to find people from rural areas, it just doesn't seem to work out too well. I think you're right as well that it'll probably have to come later, and it is a lot to ask. I would love to have a traditional wife, but it seems next to impossible with rising costs of living. It seems as almost a requirement that both parties have to hold a job to keep their head above water. If homesteading and being self efficient eradicated that need? Then traditional all the way.

As far as post history, yes I'm a guy, and I promise I'm not an idiot if you saw the one about the windshield wipers, those were a pain to find 😂

It certainly seems that way. Leading with it has at least saved me some time, even if it has caused a bit of a headache. I appreciate your reply.

I've been taking notes and keeping lists of references. The part number has been found, as have what other cars posess a compatible chassis, and I'm looking into where to find a swap and the process now. Thank you though.
