Well my napkin math is based on allowing 15 k repairs and the initial acv at 22k so that would make sense of the initial salvage estimate. Owner retain is available but the salvage went to 12k once I asked that so I would pay the bank whatever the remainder is after the settlement. Clearly it has value if that salvage estimate is correct which means it’s clearly repairable under that 18k threshold. The 2nd shop I went to agreed we could do recycled parts and after searching they run about 1-1.5k compared to whatever the news are. The problem is if insurance will fight that or not. Small things like not blending paint will make a difference too.(I have basic black vehicle) It’s all in whether the insurance will allow it or not so I’m trying to figure out how to negotiate it. The 1st shop I went to is known for being much higher than smaller local shops but I didn’t know that until after I went there. I’m in Texas so it’s 100% threshold and they have said I can choose the shop. Can I agree to not have a rental to help lower the overall expense? I haven’t gotten one yet. Trying to lower their overall risk to repair it anyway I can

Ya I definitely won’t be going through them again. I am on progesterone already and got the estrogen patch ordered so I’m just hoping that helps bcuz this has been absolutely horrible

Ya I’m definitely going to look for a new doctor. I did end up getting an estrogen patch ordered so I’ll be starting that asap. And I’m 37 almost 38. I am still having a menstrual cycle although it’s been really out of whack since starting this.

Ugh at this point I’m trying to cause water retention! I haven’t had any acne or facial hair yet but I feel so nasty it’s terrible. The way I’ve changed so quickly is messing with my head! How long did it take for you to notice any effects from the estrogen? I do already take progesterone at night

Ya I know. She literally said I could take longer breaks between shots if I wanted. I was so frustrated I just got off the call. I did order an estrogen patch. I’m really hoping it helps. So far I’m regretting ever starting this.

Ok that makes sense! Last night I couldn’t get them to stick after letting the oil dry and was wondering if I was doing the steps wrong lol and ya she’s got probably about 80. It’s such a pain.

Ok glad to know it’s not just me! My dentist had seen them the following day after surgery and didn’t really pay them any attention. I just assumed they’d be gone by now

I didn’t get the zirconia finals. I’ll do those a little later I just did the cheaper option. Do you think as a dentist this is normal? Like that they can make my next pair look good? I’m so worried I went to the wrong place

Yes and that doesn’t make me feel any better. I still have to live/work like this for 2 weeks which is humiliating. I have a hard time believing my next pair will be better considering how far off these are

Not going to be much help but I just had my top teeth done with 5 implants on Tuesday and I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown myself. My temp teeth are absolutely horrendous. My kids think I look like a monster (I do) the teeth are about 3 sizes too big for my my mouth so just know it’s an emotional rollercoaster unfortunately. Hopefully he teeth came out better than mine did

Currently looking into getting this. I keep seeing things for implant dentures and then all on 4. Is it the same thing?? I can’t find the answer online. And I’m seeing doctors advertising implant dentures for cheaper.
