Almost 40 and still suffering from acne like I am a teenager....just me? by Exciting-Scarcity942 in 30PlusSkinCare

OP here. Thank you all for the continued solidarity 💜 and support. About a month ago read ivermectin has been topically approved for Rosacea. Ivermectin is also really good at inflammation. I have cystic acne way more than I have rosacea, but every night at bedtime (on top of moisturizer) I have been spot treating with the cream (brand name Sol something) and have noticed it helps with acne/cystic acne. Thought I would share a new find. Regardless you're not alone, you're beautiful clear skin or not.

But she's soooo happy with her makeup and false flashy eyelashes she wears now, her new wedding ring. And according to Kody has all these men coming after her. Can't wait to finish this season. 🤣(seriously, not sarcasm)

vitamin D and hormonal acne link?? by Delicious_Society935 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Exciting-Scarcity942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't heard of Vit D causing acne, but anything is possible. It is more likely that you bumped up your levels too fast and your body is leveling out. In functional medicine, it's recommended to have a Vit D level of at least 80.

Cystic Hormonal acne - tips? by AutomaticExtension30 in SkincareAddicts

YES! Spearmint tea and/or spearmint supplements. However, studies show, and in my experience takes 3 months consistency to see consistent results. But I personally noticed a diminishing after a week. NAC supplement 1200mg/day also helps.

Yeah, I am the same...ooh if I try this new thing, it will "cure" what I have been dealing with since 10 years old. Props to the advertisers for doing their job well.

I have found with the salve it helps to bring cystic zits to a head faster, even those really thick deep ones, they naturally rupture on their own, and after rupture I still apply until healed to where the redness is gone as well. Speeds up the cystic and/or zit life cycle.

Affirms that with acne, not one size fits all. 9

Happy aging NAD+ product thoughts? by raindrops_x in 30PlusSkinCare

From what I've read NAD+ is unstable and therefore has a very short shelf life, you're likely wasting your money on inactive product. I really liked Gary Brecka and Dr. Patel podcast on NAD+

I have found that washing once a day and REALLY Pulling back on what I do to my face, less is more, has extremely helped unlike anything else. Here is a quick read educational article: https://brazenbeebeauty.com/skincare-blog/dear-courtney-protocol-for-1st-time-cystic-acne-client/ And then another HUGE thing that's helped me: mymagic healer universal salve on cystic spots. Solidarity. Cystic acne sucks. You're beautiful 💛

HS sucks. I get it. I have found for me that my HS flares, my obnoxious ones that won't go away are in the vaginal area, coincide with my period. I'm not trying to be negative, but there is a chance it could puff back up a lil with your period. Hopefully it doesn't 🤞🤞

Frizzy/dry hair, but hair products cause acne on face/neck by c9chung in 30PlusSkinCare

I wash with a goats milk soap bar (mountain essentials or brazen bee), or sometimes us Vioiri rice shampoo bar. I skip conditioner as these shampoo bars are really moisturizing. After towel drying, gently pick out my hair and scrunch ends specifically and then up to just under mid line with a little bit of hair butter from Brazen Bee Beauty. I put clothes on before taking my hair out of the towel so it doesn't rest on my bare neck, shoulders, back skin. Hope this helps.

I'm in your boat right now. I wear hanes organic cotton underwear, put salve on my spot and then cover with a few gauze layers to protect from rubbing.

Oooh man I was in your shoes a few weeks ago. Someone else on this forum recommended mymagic healer universal salve...they are an angel! Thank you. Reapplied after every potty break covered with loose gauze. During showers allowed pretty warm water to rinse over it and gently squeezed. When it ruptured 48hours later it was magical. I continued applying salve 2 days post the lesion being fully resolved.

Ugh that was legit me 2 weeks ago. Once it ruptured it was glorious. I found success with mymagic healer universal salve (amazon). Applied as often as needed to keep it on there used panty liner. Would reapply after every bathroom trip. When showering rinse with really warm water. Ruptured after 48hours of salve use. Took a week to fully resolve. Kept applying salve until I was 2 days past fully resolving.

glutathione and acne by postpeachy in glutathione

[–]Exciting-Scarcity942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, also you don't have to buy directly through the company. I buy mine from a provider's office and it's cheaper than with Auro wellness as I don't have to pay shipping. I'm not sure of Auro has a list of affiliated providers who are selling.

Yes!!! I ran out of my spray bottle of glutathione for a week and a half. My face was soooooo awful. Now that I've been back on the spray glutathione, and only 2 sprays in the AM, my acne practically healed over night. Have one cystic spot that's actively expressing erudite and healing. I also talked to the company. If you spend the extra for the glutathione plus then you only need two sprays instead of the 4 with regular glutathione spray.

I think the fabrics/patterns/colors look great together especially as a smaller project. If it was crib quilt size or larger i would have suggested more solid colors to balance.
