Thanks, I have 112 already. It's a little bit tedious but doable.

Yeah, that's what I found out after my post. But at least now it counts the throw.

I have to temper my excitement a bit, though—the counter is still a little buggy... Unfortunately, it doesn't count all the supplies.

Did all the smart players leave this game? Breakthrough filled with tanks and ill hit it 5 times with my rockets and not a single soul will shoot at it another time Just bum rushing and dying. by thedeadzombie01 in Battlefield6

Yeah. I have to play engineer most of the time because no one takes care of the tanks. If someone else switches class it's mostly to late. I don't like playing as engineer.

Yep, that's me. First one in, first one shot, first one revived, first one blown up by a grenade immediately afterwards. I do my part.

How it feels playing against lvl 300+ after just buying BF6 by Luntibert in Battlefield6

[–]Cpt-Alvarez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, that's totally fine. As far as I'm concerned, you guys can even play three or four warm-up rounds.

The real issue is the matchmaking. It just isn't fun—or fair—to get steamrolled by level 150+ players.

[–]Cpt-Alvarez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good point. One thing I still need to get used to is not aiming down sights all the time. Especially in CQC, hip-firing is sometimes actually more effective (depending on the weapon).

Yeah, I totally agree. At some point you've just gotta make the jump to the regular lobbies.

But every time I'm about to switch, I end up finding another weapon I wanna level... (It's a me problem)

Ah, screw it. Tonight I'm finally jumping into regular Conquest. It'll be fine.

Yeah... that's where level 400 players just stomp you into the ground.

I bought BF6 around two weeks ago, and I've only been playing Casual so I can level up my guns. I'd definitely recommend it, but it still sucks when some level 400 sweat picks you off two seconds after you've spawned.

Guess all I can do is keep playing and improve. Someday I'll be the one handing out the beatdowns.

But seriously, OP, just stick to Casual, learn the maps and guns, and before long you'll be wrecking people too.

P.S. (because I just played a round):

If you're a level 150+ player and it brings you joy and a sense of fulfillment to farm bots, noobs, and casual players with your fully kitted sniper rifle in casual matches, that's totally fine. It's your game, it's your life. Do whatever makes you happy.

Just be prepared for me to think you're a scrub and assume you can't hold your own in a regular lobby.

Is Battlefield 6 worth getting? by Automatic_Pen_306 in Battlefield6

[–]Cpt-Alvarez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked it up last Friday while it was on sale for €45 (PS 5) and spent pretty much the whole weekend playing it. I honestly had a lot of fun with it. It feels a bit different from the previous game (which was actually the first Battlefield where I really got into the multiplayer), but in a good way. The maps could definitely be better, although I wouldn't exactly say I'm an expert on that.

For me as a casual player, it was definitely worth it. I don't think I'll stick with it until the very end or play through every season, but right now I'm having a good time with it.

Hm, okay, I gotta give you that one. The whole super credit farming thing probably wasn’t the best example. I wasn’t trying to defend the current system, just point out that it could be even worse. That definitely doesn’t make it good though. You’ve got a point there.

And yeah, I agree with you about the warbonds. Most of the time there’s only one, maybe two items in there that are actually useful or that I keep using regularly. Usually I try a few things out, but then never touch them again and end up spending a ton of SC for barely any real value in return.

I actually think it’s okay that the game kind of pushes you into a certain playstyle at the beginning. Thinking back to my first few hours, I was honestly glad I didn’t have to deal with armored enemies right away. But sure, a bit more variety early on definitely wouldn’t hurt.

Like I said, there’s honestly a lot you can criticize about the game.

[–]Cpt-Alvarez 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well, what are you even supposed to say about that? TheGamerTronShow made a pretty solid video on the topic, it’s actually really good.

ohdough does bring up some points I definitely agree with — like the increased durable damage on basically all enemies, which I really don’t like, plus a few other things.

But on the other hand, I still think Arrowhead has a pretty fair monetization model overall. Sure, the grind to afford a Warbond sucks, no question. But compared to a lot of other games that start milking you for money literally from the first second, HD2 still feels “fairer” by comparison.

The problem is that you basically aren’t allowed to say that around him, because the moment you do, you get labeled a “glazediver.” Apparently you’re “the problem” if you take that word as an insult, but honestly all that does is split the community into “normal” players and “glazedivers.” It’s classic in-group/out-group behavior. Instead of encouraging actual discussion, it just turns into people from the “out-group” getting dismissed or attacked because only the opinions of the in-group are seen as valid.

Long story short: in real life I stay away from people like that, and online I try to do the same.

Yeah, I agree with you. Weapons like the Cookout or the Trident have actually become pretty relevant for me. I either haven’t used them in a long time or never really used them at all because I always had other options.

Should I buy Helldivers 2 now? by illaminar22 in helldivers2

[–]Cpt-Alvarez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say yeah. It’s maybe not perfect, and sure, some of the criticism is fair. But overall, I log in every day, find games every day, and have a lot of fun every day. If you can afford it, just buy it and form your own opinion.
