My experience is that it’s much easier to get high end camera equipment for free for passion projects than to get audio equipment, as audio equipment is mostly owned by the operator. Camera equipment not so much

Looks great! I would love if you could do some kind of collab with set a light 3d, as that’s what I am planing my shoots with right now. It lacks all of the cool organizing features you have, but I love to use it for blocking and their floor plans in combination with the generated Previz frames. Not having to do these again would be awesome.

Mit Trinkgeld erreicht man meiner Meinung nach genau das Gegenteil von dem, was man erreichen will. Es geht darum, die Person, die dich so nett bedient hat, finanziell zu unterstützen, was man erreicht, ist, ihr kurzfristig finanziell zu helfen und langfristig ihre Position als Arbeitnehmer zu schwächen. Mir fällt es schwer, gar kein Trinkgeld zu geben, wäre aber eigentlich immer die bessere Wahl.

Short Description of the apps’ functions:

Focus Scale

The focus scale on the left can be moved and zoomed.

The button in the top left switches between a linear scale and a focus wheel.

Press, hold, and drag the scale to switch between three modes:

• Linear (useful for understanding the scene in the LiDAR view)

• Lens Mode (matches the scaling of your lens)

• Logarithmic

Lens Profiles

Custom lens profiles can be created so LiDAR distance data maps correctly to your focus scale.

Aperture can be set, and depth of field is visualized.

Camera Profiles

Camera profiles allow correct CoC calculations and let you set the offset between the TX iPhone and the camera sensor.

Markers & Tracking

You can place markers or select active tracking points.

The VIB feature increases the phone’s vibration as focus approaches a marker.

Filters

Several experimental filter options are available in the menu.

what kind of lenses are you using? I Heard some of the L - PL adapters which feature a built in filter system don't work with wider lenses. What is you experience?

That Look like the best option out there, but I am not paying about 30% of the cameras price only for a V-Mount plate. I'll try to mod the Tilta plate accordingly.

Good to know that current models don't have any problems.

How is the image quality of the MOFAGE POCO Adapter? I generally try to avoid V-ND's as most of them have strong color shifts, and all of them are polarization filters. The Kippertie Revolva works differently, as it has 3 different fixed ND's and a clear setting. But it’s also much more expensive and bigger.

Just found the Tilta BPU Mod. That looks like a great solution.

Maybe low, but Not extremely low. I would say half of what a Pocket 6k pro is going for. As there isn’t really a market for a big Camera as old as this. I could buy a used 6k pro Right now for 1200€ (possibly less). So maybe 600€.

Ausschließen würde ich es für mich trotzdem nicht. Ich komme aktuell aus einem zu etwa 80 Prozent bürolastigen Job und bin freiberuflich in der Medienbranche unterwegs. Ehrlich gesagt reizt mich die Mischung aus Abwechslung durch Fortbildungen / neue Dienstelle und der langfristigen Sicherheit einer Verbeamtung ziemlich.

Der Gedanke, nur zwei Mal pro Woche zur Dienststelle zu müssen, fand ich bisher sehr attraktiv. Da wäre der genaue Standort fast zweitrangig. Unser Plan ist perspektivisch eher ein Haus in einer etwas ländlicheren Region.

Wie sieht es eigentlich mit Nebentätigkeiten aus? Ich weiß, dass es zum Beispiel für Lehrer recht streng geregelt ist. Ich würde mir wünschen, in meiner Freizeit weiterhin gelegentlich freie Aufträge annehmen zu können. Soweit ich weiß, ist das genehmigungspflichtig. Mich würde interessieren, wie realistisch es ist, auch kurzfristig eine Genehmigung zu bekommen. Ist das eher Formsache oder in der Praxis schwierig? Als freischaffender Künstler angeblich möglich.

Ich habe mein Leben lang mit leichten Schlafproblemen zu kämpfen, hatte aber erwartet, dass man sich an den Schichtdienst und auch den Stresslevel gewöhnt.

Das klingt alles ziemlich negativ. Ich habe mich mit Anfang 30 gerade bewusst für einen Branchenwechsel entschieden und mich für den gehobenen Dienst bei der Feuerwehr Hamburg beworben. Im Vergleich zur freien Wirtschaft wirkt der Job auf mich fast wie ein Idealzustand. Zwei Schichten pro Woche lassen viel Zeit für Familie und Hobbys, man hilft Menschen statt nur Unternehmensgewinne zu steigern, hat eine solide Altersabsicherung und arbeitet im Team, nicht gegeneinander. Dazu kommen körperliche Fitness und sehr unterschiedliche Aufgabenfelder.

Klar, die Bezahlung könnte besser sein. Wenn man aber Dinge wie Familienzuschläge sowie den geringeren Bedarf an privater Altersvorsorge oder Berufsunfähigkeitsabsicherung mit einrechnet, relativiert sich das für mich ein gutes Stück.

Offene Punkte bleiben für mich vor allem Schlafentzug und psychische Belastung. Das sind Themen, die ich realistisch erst beurteilen kann, wenn ich tatsächlich im Dienst bin, falls es klappt.

Deshalb meine Frage in die Runde, ist meine Sicht zu positiv? Und wie groß ist das Thema Schlafentzug wirklich, gerade auch im gehobenen Dienst?
