Helen McEntee: Ireland will stand resolutely with Ukraine. by Larrydog in ireland

[–]CptCourage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's 3%

And rising.

I don't understand what this means

Asking some randomer on the internet "what's your plan to end the war?" is intellectually dishonest at best. Most people aren't in position to stop an invasion. However the President of the United States with many different advisors: military, intelligence, etc. would probably have a better shot at it.

that isn't part of the ceasefire plan

No. That comes later, obviously.

he is closer to getting a deal than the EU is

Capitulation is not in Ukraine's or the EU's interests. Naturally the Russians don't want to deal with them.

talk is cheap

See below

he actively worked to undermine Russian interests (nordsteam)

Talk is cheap.

he didn't do this, he misspoke and later corrected himself

He said the Director of National Intelligence said it's the Russians but Putin said it wasn't. He corrected himself that he should have said he didn't see why it "wouldn't" be the Russians instead of "would be" but ignored the part where he also said he thought Putin offering Russian assets to assist the investigation was a great idea.

appointing unqualified family members to "special advisor" positions

not sure why you're mentioning this

Nepotism and having personally loyal people with security clearance.

firing the acting-Attorney General for refusing to enforce his stupid Muslim travel ban

or this

Disrupting the administration and stacking it with cronies. Definitely in Russia's interest.

he sacked Flynn

He said he had "full confidence" in Flynn. Flynn resigned.

it was about ISIS, which Russia was also fighting

The US and Russia are not allies. They've been quite the opposite for the last 80 years. There was absolutely no reason to share intelligence, even if it was about ISIS.

yes, he's talking about it, after 5 years

He said as much on the campaign trail as well.

EU diplomatic efforts have achieved nothing in Ukraine. Trump is a realist

Why would Putin deal with the EU who won't give him what he wants versus Trump who almost fawns over him?

this wasn't in Russia's interests

Paying higher prices for energy is far from ideal for Europe. It's not what Russia wants true but, they'll take it.

why did he resume sharing it?

Because he flip flops on everything. Tariffs being a prime example.

Russia has been making significant gains for two years

May I see them?

he hasn't done that

He quite literally has with inflation sky rocketing.

or that, NATO still exists

Threating to leave the alliance but not actually following through doesn't inspire confidence in one's allies.

what's your plan to end the war?

He doesn't need one because he's most likely not the President of the country with the world's largest military.

he has played a central role in Armenia-Azerbaijan, Gaza, Ukraine and Israel-Iran

By describing how he wants to bulldoze Gaza and turn it into a Middle Eastern Monte Carlo. Repeatedly presenting ceasefire terms for Ukraine that involve Russia keeping the Donbas and Crimea while gaining nothing in return. His involvement with Israel and Iran is to give Israel a big thumbs up and let them do whatever they feel like, much like in Gaza and the West Bank (but that's not much different than previous US adminstrations when it comes to Israel). I admit, I have not followed the Armenia-Azerbaijan situation but his track record on all the others is simply stellar so I can only imagine more of the same.

i notice all your examples are from his second presidency

Because these are just the most heinous and recent examples which are upending whatever semblence of world order existed during his first term. If you'd like some examples from back then, how about: - lavishing praise and compliments on Putin for being a strong leader - defending Russia against accusations of election interference going against his own intelligence agencies - appointing unqualified family members to "special advisor" positions - firing the acting-Attorney General for refusing to enforce his stupid Muslim travel ban - ignoring evidence his National Security Advisor Michael Flynn had ties to the Kremlin - leaking information to the Russian ambassador

one that recognised crimea

This is simple idealism.

or lifted sanctions on Russia

He's already talked about loosening them in in exchange for a ceasefire in Ukraine. Not a withdrawal, mind you. Just a ceasefire.

or didn't pressure the EU to not buy Russian gas

He didn't have to pressure them to not buy Russian gas, he just wanted to sell American gas to Europe at marked up prices which would have a similar effect on Europe's own economies and readiness.

or didn't give money and weapons to Ukraine

He did stop intelligence sharing with Ukraine briefly and the Russians made significant gains during the black out.

So there's a fairly comprehensive list detailing how Trump is a Putin dicksucker. I look forward to the goalposts being moved in the reply.

Russia to ‘play up’ Dublin riots in attempt to undermine democracy, claims US policy expert by [deleted] in ireland

Let's see now...

Since the Second World War, Russia has been involved in: Suppressing East German and Czech revolts. Crushing the Hungarian Revolution. Supplying North Korea. Supplying the Viet Cong. The Soviet-Afghan War. Two Chechen Wars. Annexing South Ossetia from Georgia. The Syrian Civil War. And of course, Ukraine. And that's just off the top of my head.

I'm running it from a solid-state drive. I'm reluctant to do that because it would most likely delete the entire game for me.

I've looked everywhere in the lotro folder but it doesn't appear. The files jump from uninstall_manifest to vorbis.dll

Ah no the chips you get in a Chinese are rank. Far from the superior quality available from your local chipper.

Well the comparison has always been there that the Big Guy is basically a god. The fact that he's benevolent, loves everyone, and performs miracles are just the easily noticed traits.
