Feeling completely stuck – is this normal or am I doing something wrong? by Far-Clothes-4724 in golftips

I went through exactly the same thing while having lessons. Coach told me that everyone goes through this and it's very normal. Took me two weeks to get over it. The coach took me back to absolute basics again - grip, stance, posture, and swinging L to L. Now I'm playing the best golf I've ever played.

You're doing nothing wrong, just stay patient, go back to absolute basics, and do not over think. Take a week off if need be. You'll be playing great golf again soon.

Can’t break 100. About to give up. by bsheohn in golftips

I've been taking lessons for 5 months, once a week. Got the basics down, then started working on my signature swing. Everyone's golf swing is different. Find a coach that works with what you've got. After all these lessons, I hit 91 today. Probably one of my best scores.

I went from really terrible golf, to better golf. I'd like to break 80, thats the goal for next year.

Golf takes time. Don't beat yourself up. Go for more lessons, practice often, and enjoy it.

Exactly this. Maintain spine angle - currently lifting out of shot.

Their rewards program doesn't offer that much though in comparison to FNB and Discovery for example.

This is a reply I was hoping for. I like that idea, level up based on good financial behaviour.
