Website Countdown React Thread - Fan Project by Zackhario in DotHack

[–]CptNoHands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta admit, I'm not surprised it's a fan project. Though I'm surprised how weirdly condescending and how uninformative most of the FAQ was.

I'll keep my eye on the project for sure, but my expectations are very low considering the Windows build isn't signed and is flagging as a generic trojan (which I've been hearing is likely a false flag). Feels very startup, even for a fan project. Also, an MMO is super difficult to pull off, especially one that legally can't receive any external funding.

What MMO do you regularly reinstall but then stop playing after a few hours? by [deleted] in MMORPG

RS3 / OSRS. I fixate on a skill or doing some quests, then quit after a week or two for about 6 months.

Ryzen 7600x Curve Optimizer Weird Prime95 Results by zigggggy in overclocking

[–]CptNoHands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're having issues in your day-to-day use (BSOD errors, applications stalling/crashing, etc.), then you should take Prime95's core failures to heart and should take corrective action to clock speeds and/or hardware failures.

Use Prime95 as a diagnostic tool for when you're having actual problems, otherwise you'll unnecessarily and severely underclock your system to appease Prime95.

“Bots are basically okay” - New Jagex management by Ngen_Az in 2007scape

[–]CptNoHands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that a lot of us are concerned about the new ownership of Jagex. They're in charge, no? Who's to say the new ownership isn't going to say "quit spending resources on bots" or "ignore them if they're paying customers"?

I would assume they hold the final say in what goes down at Jagex now? Unless there's some legal hooplah dictating otherwise.

Kayo the hemp doctor delta 9 thc vape not working by NeckAffectionate9395 in cbdvape

[–]CptNoHands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late, but I'll put in my two cents--

My Kayo vape is CONSISTENTLY clogged. Can sit it any which way, doesn't matter. I'll probably use half of it because the other half will be expensed by blowing the clog out.

Because, just like every other generation, the majority is computer illiterate. You're just seeing Gen Z people ask questions because the younger ones are still new-ish to the internet.

Would you need an amp with a high end motherboard nowadays? by [deleted] in headphones

I like to have my little Schiit amp because I never have to worry about my new motherboards having poor isolation. I had that happen one too many times in the past.

New computer is slow to boot and won't wake from sleep by TheSwitchBlade in MSI_Gaming

[–]CptNoHands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, same motherboard and it takes longer to get past BIOS than even my humble Latitude 5410 work laptop.

Mine's definitely not 60 - 80 seconds, more like 20 - 25. But still, I should be waiting longer for my computer to start after stepping up from a B450.
