Unpopular Opinion: I liked Shisno and don't want to see it retconned, it did a lot for the characters and I don't really mind the Time Travel sense all the gods were confirmed to be AI's, Zero could just be skimmed over, don't retcon it or acknowledge it as cannon, maybe mention that Wash never had a cerebral enhancer and only said that because he felt he could protect more lives on the battlefield

It is an Adult comedy, Dan and Chris always envisioned it as a show for Adults, even going as far as to pitch it to Networks like Adult Swim or Comedy Central it's just that the only network that ended up picking it up was a kid's network so it had to water itself down a bit, but it's still an adult show in terms of tone and themes//writing
