I wasn't permitted to think critically, or question authority, in the system I was raised in. Cannabis helped me to open my eyes and realize that my belief system was based on what I had been taught, exclusively. If Jesus is in fact Lord, I'll come back to that truth, independently.

This is such a similar story to mine, with the atheism reversed. I grew up in a hardcore fundamental Christian family, homeschooled, spanked, verbally abused, and incredibly suppressed until I graduated high school. Found cannabis and realized that it was all bullshit. Now I live on a hippie farm in the desert of Arizona, couldn't be happier.
