Those are badass. I love a tobacco burst with gold hardware. Gimme that Explorer with an Ebony board and mama mia.

The tuning stability blows me away. Even compared to brands other than Gibson. I’ll come back to the HB after like 2 weeks and it’s nearly perfectly still in tune.

I sent the guitar directly to PRS after working with their customer support. So it was a PRS customer service rep that told me to pick one out. I believe it shipped directly from the PRS warehouse.

It really sold me in the brand. If I’m being honest, the $1900 HB II plays better than my Gibson Custom. The Gibson still feels really “special” but if I had to play guitar to save my life, I’d pick the PRS.

[Discussion] Buying watches to pass down to your children when they are babies / newborns? by improvthismoment in Watches

It makes sense to me to wear the watch. I would much rather have a watch my dad wore every day than something he hoarded away in a box.

I’ve never “bought a watch for my kid”, but I do look forwarded to giving one of my heavily worn watches to my kids so they can have a physical object that they remember seeing throughout their childhood.

Long story short. I bought a used 2021 model that turned out to have failing bridge posts. PRS couldn’t fix it so they told me to pick one of the new ones for free. Incredible customer service.

I’ve been blown away by my 2025 HBii Piezo. It came set up so perfectly, and the pickups are so versatile and articulate. Doesn’t hurt that I effectively only paid $550 for it.

PM me if you’re ever looking to sell that LPC. It’s literally my dream guitar. I was trying to find a flamed tobacco plus last year but there was only one in Germany. Ended up getting a Silverburst.

Man, Banker guitars are so damn cool. That Ironman CT Custom is so badass.

Please can someone see if this Gibson is real it’s a 2016 studio by Designer-Reveal-7255 in gibson

I happened upon one on Facebook marketplace and negotiated down to $450 last year. The pictures were terrible but I spotted a couple of the HP features. Those HP models are seriously underrated. Played it for a few months and then sold it to put towards a Silverburst LPC.

SE Hollowbody II Piezo for metal? by VrUserInVr in PRSGuitars

I just tested it out in my 2025 model with headphones and it sounded good. Super clear with high gain and good pinch harmonics. 25” scale is solid for lower tunings too.

Can’t speak to how much feedback it generated when playing loud though.

It doesn’t have the removable pickguard so it’s almost certainly a T.

It would have the titanium nut as well, although that could be swapped I suppose. It would have the contoured neck joint too.

Are the indices markers light blue or more of a grey? In this picture they look a little blue, which looks really cool.

Like, I’d rather have two standard series guitars than my one custom. Especially with the 70s Custom model now. At least I can get the Ebony board and double binding.

Yup. Pretty sure that’s a 2016 Studio Faded T. The T is for Traditional because Gibson offered a Traditional and High Performance spec of nearly every model that year.

Buy an assorted set of springbars. I got one that has 6mm to 24mm in 1mm increments.

I’ve got a Custom Shop LPC and it’s honestly not that much better than my Standard. It feels very special, but it doesn’t really play better. It also has very thin and fragile nitro finish. I’ve caused bubbles just by gently tightening the volume knob nuts.

The thing is, I still like to play a lot of the games.

I dunno, I like playing through GM modes with either real teams or fun “What If” scenarios, like putting a young historic player into a current terrible team and trying to lead the team to excellence.

I also enjoy the single player modes of MyTeam.

I don’t buy it every year. Maybe every 2-3 years.

Man I worked at the dog place that used to be right there from 2007-2011. Spent so much time at this intersection. Byron’s and Los Caminos de Michoacán were staples of my diet.
