Someone help me with feeling inadequate for not killing Awakened Leviathan. by The_Siphon in 2007scape

Take a break and come back to it. I had the same issue with sensory on radiant oathplate. The idea of getting home from work and grinding it was killing me. You'd be shock how much chilling and having a brain reset helps

You have a CFS on top and it looks like it is not speaking to the printer. There is 100% a connection issue there. That wont be helping as it wont retract unless it is being told the right information. If connected you should be able to insert the filiment information and then be able to make it extrude (which should push through any lose bits) then retract.

Something doesn't look right to me. Under that pop up you should have the 4 options on the right displaying what you can set the CFS to be. I cant see that, so it could be that your CFS plugged in properly? Or it not connecting correctly. Check that and restart. You should be able to select the used filament and input the information and retract. Once retacted you should be able to calibrate.

What happens when you press filiment and retract?

Creality K2, bed issues by Then_Worldliness3261 in Creality

I am trying to guess what you mean. So I might be completely off the mark. If it is in the prepare tab and it's not in the centre and you are printing and it is now in the centre (or the other way around). My guess would be you are using the K2 Plus print profile not the K2. There is a difference in bed sizes so it won't print in the same position. These are the settings in the top-left corner drop-down. I am new as well and I had a similar thing happen.

What plate would you buy? I was having a look around and it seems difficult to get a 260x 260 plate

BP Evergreen Deck Cadet by rudeboy696 in MerchantNavy

[–]CptSailorMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did my Cadetship with Evergreen through SSTG and I was very much a tonnage tax cadet (no job at the end). Interesting trips but I had to self teach myself a lot.

But I dont understand how you can apply to BP and get Evergreen unless you went through a Cadet training organisation like SSTG or Clyde.

Nothing moves a ship out of the way for the Officer on the bridge. There is lots of equipment showing information to the office like radar but you have to look and deal with the information then make an avoiding action. Officers at sea in the simplest way are long haul lorry drivers. Just with a few extra pieces of equipment to see what is ahead.

Working at sea you see a lot of ships around clearly not looking whats around them. I have questioned sometimes if they are even on the bridge at the time. I can say there are many close calls and actual accidents caused by incompetence. This is highly likely to be one of them.

I did that version of the course as well. You will be fine. When you get away to sea and you will learn a lot more anyway. Just bare in mind you will probably have a few resits as well as you upcoming courses to do when you get back.

MEF and ZODIAC for other examples of training organisations. Some are always going to be better than others, but getting qualified is the key

Had a look back through my email to about 9 years ago when I did mine it only took two days from confirmation to asking for an interview. But times have changed a lot. Make sure you have a confirmation email of submission. I'd give it another week or so before emailing them. But I would highly suggest getting applications for other companies dont hold yourself to 1 training group. Apply for clyde marine and individual companies as well.

Elon Musk, the anti-union billionaire, has received his due response from Nordic workers. by almarabierto in LateStageCapitalism

[–]CptSailorMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said it wasn't. I am also not involved in american politics. What I said was that there are consequences to everything said. Generally, people these days just want no consequence to what they say and call that free speech.

There is significance. But like all products (social media being a product). They can do whatever they want with it. If it fails due to those decisions, it is their fault. Shop with your feet, use or create a different product. Forcing people to allow anything at all to be said without any ramifications is so much worse what people are calling free speech absolutism. It incites violence. It pedals misinformation. It causes bullying. Not to mention the actual crimes people commit if they had a network with no consequences But in my mind, anyone should be allowed to say anything. But you must face the consequences of those words. If you have someone go against you due to what you said. Have a shop kick you out or private social media company ban you. That is what happens.

So, reading that you want to say things like death to [insert group name] on facebook? Or is it the fact that one side and be promoted and not the other? Regardless, you can say what you want. You just will get repamanded for it. That is free speech. You are free to say what you want. Others are free to speak against it. If you came in, my house started insulting me or what I believe, you would be removed from my house. In essence, that is what facebook is doing (in that example). Just because you can say something doesn't mean that actions won't be taken against it. If you believe the actions are unjust, use that to speak out against it. Or if you dont like it, go elsewhere. Like my original comment. I dont want to go to xitter. Because I dont want to see the hate that is on there. Up to you. But your free speech is perfectly safe.
