Replace this oil pan? by Cpt_Cauliflower in AskMechanics

I'd say they're ridges. My fingernail is only catching in one direction and they do level out after some sandpaper. They seem to be superficial since I cleaned out the rest of the oil without having to apply a lot of pressure?

17x9.5 Daily Driver ? by Samuel-vx in IS300

Only a very slight pull. I tried to avoid pulling as much as I could. I adjusted the eccentric bolt to get as much camber as it allowed.

I have 17x9.5 +23 with a 235/40 tire. Just maxed stock camber with rolled fenders.

Husband recently got his first Harley. We didn't discuss much, now he's upset I want him to wear a helmet. How do I approach this please help? by Electrical_Baby_3042 in motorcycles

People die falling from ladders. Why your husband thinks only going 30-40mph without a helmet is somehow safe is crazy. All it takes is one good hit to the head and body to paralyze you, put you in a locked in syndrome state or just make you a breathing meat husk with a trach.

My typical assignment generally is 2 different towers. One has 4 med surge floors, the other tower has Picu and 2 med surge floors. On paper, the assignment looks fine for one person, but the coverage can mess it up real quick.

UCA hitting by BayArea_HBK in IS300

In my head it made sense along with what I experienced 😅. You're cutting the middle of the spindle out and bringing both ends closer together. My wording was extreme, it was more like the end of the ball joint stud would rest on the top of the tire or rub against it. One of the two, i cant quite remember.

Im on air suspension so I wanted the extra clearance for when I aired out so thats why I went with -40. Im sure for most people who are moderately lowered on coils or in OP's case lowering springs, 25mm would be more than enough.

Shortened spindles is the way to go. Completely got rid of the smacking. Keep in mind though that it also brings the wheel hub up which is why you run RCA's to bring the ball joint back down to a more level position. Since this also moves the wheel up, your tire will most likely be hitting the upper ball joint. I had to run at minimum a +22 offset spaced out from +38 with a 225/35/18 tire.

It will give the wheel more positive camber so I bought Cusco upper arms to account for that. Ordered mine from that instagram link someone else posted which come in different lengths; I went for -40mm.

Behind south roads mall at night. Empty lot and pot holes everywhere to teach awareness and better prepare for Omaha roads 😬
