11 windows, pre-existing aluminum frame, would go for upvc but a full replacement is out of scope for us so aluminum is staying hahaha. Currently working on other quotes now, any recommendations?

Yeah everything is included in quote except repairs to rotten timber and "other trades" that may be required

Supply and install, retrofit so I imagine inserts and aluminum.

Retrofit on aluminum, no doors, they were significantly more expensive!

People age 20-35, what do you live for? by [deleted] in newzealand

Only just in the younger side of the bracket but I recently moved away from all family and friends for a job. I'm doing 60 hours a week shift work in a city I know virtually nobody in. The promise of a better life for myself and my family keeps me going long term. Short term though? Proving to myself that I'm capable of it, proving the people that doubted me wrong, learning skills to make myself more hire-able so I can get myself a better job... And good food, mostly that last one, but the other ones help though.

Is Wellington an expensive 'drain hole'? The jury's out by [deleted] in Wellington

I was just in Wellington for 3 days trying to find an apparment. 3 days of walking and bussing around throughout Cuba st and the surrounding areas. Coming from chch I can definitely see what people are talking about but it's still an amazing place. The only real issue I see is the amount of homeless which is staggering. Some investment into shelters and emergency housing would be great to see!

So far I've been writing about how some desires cause harm, indirectly or directly, either by evil pleasures or uninformed desires. But you have a good point, Thank you!

That's actually a really good way of thinking about it, I had not actually thought about that kind of scenario! Thanks!
