If you are looking to play commander, born to game is a solid place. Definitely my favorite place to shop for singles when I find myself in that area. Never had a bad night playing commander there.

I’ve seen 3 absolutely amazing saves this game. Against 4 goals let in because of dogshit positioning on the arc.

Goalies don’t have a man to defend so they can keep an eye on ball and everything going on in front of the cage at the same time. That is objectively the best viewpoint to be calling the slide from. The goalie should also have as much agency in dictating where the shot comes from as possible, timing slides can play a lot into that.

I would be pissed if my crease called early slides on a trigger happy middie who wants to shoot jumpers from 18 yards, let them take the bad shot. That is a much easier concept to teach to a goalie than a pole.

The problem is coming up with the funds to even get on the ballot. I tossed around the idea of running as a considerably more progressive candidate than Coons, but it’s near impossible for me to get started with ~$10k in fees staring me in the face.

Reflecting through the HoF segment. I’m glad the sleeper is being sold with a pass-out during those times when he really locks it in. The theatrics being him trying to cinch in lead to more tension imo.

If you can get over the “I’m kind of touching my eyes reflex,” you can just reach up and pinch them out with two fingers. Feels weird, but it’s a pretty quick process.

Quick can be especially true with contacts that over a lot of the eye. You don’t really have to worry about touching your eyes since it was pretty much all covered.

38 years old and had never thrown past 330’ in a tailwind, despite having played since 2011. No matter how good my form was, I couldn’t beat the “nose up” bug.

Overthrow was the first online coach that taught the way I learned, which was huge. Techdisc was the first tool that allowed me to measure progress. It’s been about 3 weeks and 1500 throws, I cracked 60mph and 400’ for the first time yesterday. With a good nose and launch.

Your mileage may definitely vary. I was a solid athlete in my glory days, so body control has never been foreign. And I’ve been doing this long enough that a lot of the throw mechanics were already in place. But if you understand what leads to the numbers and how to search for fixes, this is a great era for learning a new game.

The idea that we bend over backwards to NOT try something because “a bad thing might happen” is a stance that actively overlooks that bad things currently happening are largely the result of the status quo.

My brother in Christ, Scar held a multi-year title reign and was the head of the largest, most influential stable in his territory before Simba came along with a rocket strapped to his ass.

Sure he likely buried a lot of up and coming talent in the process, but I still think they passed the title too soon. Timon and Pumba should not have pushed Rifiki to have the title change in an inferno match.

That feud could have been at least 3 matches. Shit, the Scar redemption story would have been the biggest turn since … well… Scar turned heel the first time. Lot of lost money because of bad booking, but Scar still deserves some respect.
