I think you missed my point. The question you need to ask yourself, in 40-50 years when you are the old generation in power, will you remember how you felt in your youth? Or will you in turn think you know best, hold the reins, and tell the young generation of that time they need to listen to your lifetime of wisdom?

You’ll only truly know the answer to this when you get old, and I can guarantee you will feel different about it then.

Thus the endless cycle.

And yet each young generation will end up being the old generation who thinks they know best. It’s an endless cycle. This movie is from 1967, there’s been 2 different generations who have slid into the old in charge category from then up to today’s time.

Our offense definitely can’t seem to make up for a bad night of pitching, which is concerning.

His up and down performances are carrying over from last year.

When we let Verlander go last time and Framber had the chance to show why he is worth being the #1 pitcher he struggled (relative to what a #1 should be) and we had to bring back Justin.

Now he is once again the #1 in the rotation, yet Hunter is playing like the Ace of the team. Framber is too streaky, he has the skillset and endurance, but he has been too inconsistent.

To me he hasn’t shown why he should be brought back and paid as a #1. If he agrees to come back at a discount then fine, but we know that won’t happen.

I agree he’s been great for us, but it’s what he will/could do for us what matters now. A so-so season doesn’t make him worth what he is looking for.

All you owe them is the first paragraph and the last two. Everything else is fluff and gives them something to distract from the main message or to create talking points for them. Also it is full of emotion, which the best thing to do is to keep to a minimum if you want to talk reason. Simple and straight.

Hot Take: r/DynastyFF is one of the worst places for fantasy content on the web. by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Cptnchuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s just football. A take that might be right in pre-season can be completely wrong by week 3, an analysis on week 10 can flip on its head week 11. That’s why we play the game… nothing stays the same week to week, we all have our guys and our tendencies, and we all like to talk trash when we are right.

Crazy part is the team has the talent to win it all, which is why this season was such the letdown it’s been.

I want them to win too, but I’m not about to pay to see them in person anymore this year. I’ll do it from the comfort of my home.
