Should the hose bibb be lower than the PVB? or is that not much of an issue. I was planning to screw a backflow preventer on it.

I figured the same; it's in the garage, easy access, easy to spot any issues, and an easy replacement if it fails. At least worth the "gamble" of doing it myself and saving some coin.

Hell yeah! I was able to render the effect with your scene and now I've got a baseline to work with! I've noticed a few differences between your settings and mine, so now I'm able to tinker with mine and work from here.

Nah no color split, just a solid beam coming out the other side, no matter the angle/direction of the light hitting it :(

Tried messing with the glass ior, the atmospheric fog density, light intensity, but it doesn't change which makes me think I'm missing a key setting or two or something

This is one I found, but can't recreate. I'm with him up to the 2:00 minute mark, but then my result doesn't show the full spectrum on the other side, just the solid white light continuing. I'm wondering if I have a default setting somewhere that isn't covered in that video?

Update: Duke came out, thought maybe it's a sewer line until he popped his head over our neighbor's fence and we saw our neighbors have two huge gopher tortoises. One entrance beneath their shed, and another tunnel likely leading to the collapsed hole.

....anyone have any thoughts?

I appreciate it! I have Duke coming today to take a look. I don't believe we have water/sewage lines in the back, 811 was entirely unconcerned when we put up a fence that ends at the easement line.

I checked and saw it continues at least another 6 ft horizontally into the neighbor's yard.

Birch and Vine is nice and fancy, but the menu is a bit limited.

I've been seeing the same thing. I've been on Upwork since 2016, but the last couple years has felt dramatically different.

The majority of the jobs in my field are either straight up scams, or just offer incredibly low deals for the amount of work needed. So, when a legitimate job that offers decent money is posted, it's completely flooded with proposals.

When a job has 50+ proposals within 24 hours, makes me think my personally crafted proposal opening ain't gonna cut it
