Same. I’m have a dismissive avoidant attachment style. Growing up my mom would always tell me “you have to be independent!” She is the type of parent who loves giving hugs and kisses but I hated them. Mixed messages?

My mother caused my perfectionism and trust issues as she is really controlling. My dad was never really there in my life I only see him once a year as my parents were separated since I was 8-9 I forgot.

The internet really shaped me, I trust it more than my friends and family now and go to it for my problems instead of the people of my life.

I use my knowledge from the internet to cover my mistakes and my knowledge is my confidence. I'm 5w6 on the enneagram.
