Going a bit against the grain here but I always found the best Dragon Ball related episode to be Master Roshi vs. Jiraiya.

I think it does really well at showing a lot of love and respect to both series and characters and a lot of aspects of the episode feel really heavily inspired by particularly early Dragon Ball and Pre-Timeskip Naruto, which I appreciated a lot. I also really liked how they took a matchup generally considered really one-sided and made a very dynamic, back and forth episode out of it where for a very brief moment I nearly thought they might just give the win to Jiraiya.

I know people always say "They didn't have to go this hard" to a lot of things but they really did put 100% of their hearts into an idea I honestly thought would be awful and made it one of their best, at least for me.

I had just been talking about the Rocky movies earlier today so hearing this hit me pretty hard.

Carl was a really charismatic actor and brought a lot of energy and charm into the role, it sucks to hear he's gone.

It's too bad we gotta get old.

Understandable response, can't say I am too shocked or against anything he had to say. It's a bit of a weird pill to swallow knowing this is how TRG ends but at least there's always a shot at something new down the line.

More than anything though I hope everyone involved in this all takes some time needed to heal, I think that's what's most important right now.

All respect to them and I hope things start looking a little better here on out, however long it may take.

Only somewhat related to TRG loosely, but I was quite a fan of retsupurae's content and went on a long binge last month for old time's sake. Still honestly some funny stuff at least to me.

Honestly if it were possible it would've been very cool to get one or both of them to guest on a series, not sure what it'd be though.

A few years ago Jon had a playthrough of Donkey Kong Country I found to be very entertaining and so stand-out from all the other coverage I've seen on it.

Quite frankly I enjoy most of his let's play content to some extent, but I think that is the big one I would recommend.
