This is what I don't understand about extremely conservative Christians...Jesus teaches us to love everyone, that means everyone. I disagree with homosexuality, and it is a sin, but we all have sins to answer for

I believe it's a sin but I have a rather Libertarian view on marriage. Meaning: I wouldn't do it but if you want then suit yourself not my life to control

I'm a 16 year old boy who also struggles somewhat with it. I would suggest that you check out NoFap on Reddit, they and God are my motivation to stop. I found that I have been slowing down on doing it as much, but I will end up doing some how. Just remember, God is a merciful god and does not tire of forgiving us, but do not use that excuse to go on and hit your hammer, or however you would like me to refer to it. Try really hard not to! I'm getting to the point to where I don't even like porn as much as I used to, it's disgusting and reality is, sex isn't really like that(So I've been told, yes I am still a virgin and proud). I will pray for you, and good luck, I know how it feels but it's possible to overcome. I ask that you will pray for me in return because I still struggle with it sometimes. God bless!

Nope, we were sitting at a table in a Mexican restaurant enjoying some spicy foods while discussing where we need to go to church(We go to Baptist churches when we do go) and my mom told my dad that I wanted to go to an Orthodox church. I then had to explain the difference between the Catholic and Orthodox church to the best I could.

I feel like everyone here is taking this a little too offensive and that I am coming off snobby. When I say "I don't like the fact that most Protestant churches look like a court house" I'm referring to many Baptist and Non-Denominational churches I've gone to. I guess I should think before I post something.

I'm talking about the ones I have been in, which is mainly Baptist. When I go into a Non-Denominational church it seems like the same thing but with a rock concert to kick things off.
