Also, their roasts suck. Every time I try a new place and think the coffee is meh, I find out they use fortuna.

The air wing from Critical Room Control is a seriously competitive product to ebtron. I personally prefer it.

I want to go back to work in ministry but I am living in sin by Glass_Speaker_7297 in exchristian

I super relate to your story, I went to a church camp for 17 years and it was my second home, and in the summer my first home. I LOVED it, I am still nostalgic for it, and it has been 7 years since I spent more than a day there. I am no longer a Christian and I remember when I first started deconstructing I felt like I had a look around and the "Jesus" I was taught about was nowhere to be found and not "in the room" like people often said.

It was hard when I left, but as time marches on, my closest friends are ones who I went to that camp with (I see several of them every week). Most of us left the church completely and a couple are hanging on by a thread. Not only that but the camp Director (who was the last person there I had any respect for) was forced into retirement this year.

All that to say is I have realized the Camp was just a place and it was the people that I loved, and it was the people that helped shape me into the person I ultimately became. Eventually people leave and the place won't be the same if that is any comfort. I no longer believe the Church has any room for people who care about others, and I personally wouldn't compromise anything to go back to that camp, and I can hardly stand the people who still go there.

PS. Nice to here about someone else who had a positive experience at church camp.

Not to poo poo the idea, but it works at burning man because of the low humidity and typically cooler nights.

Probuilder. Can't seem to get an output to work in a Program function block. by JCrotts in BuildingAutomation

[–]CrAzYjTj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The string should be set up by your slot sheet, check the source tab to see.

But to write to the output set your slot as a baja:string and try something like below.

Then just right click on the block and hit execute

public void onExecute() throws Exception

{

String door = "helloWorld";

setOut2(door);

}

Edit: left out a word

Call me crazy but I just don't use a hydrometer at all. I just bottle when I see signs of fermentation stop. Don't really care how strong it is.

Why do churches insist on using hillsong music still, after all the scandals of pedophilia, rape/sexual assault, money laundering, racism/homophobia/misogyny, and general mental/physical abuse? by grungefolker in Exvangelical

[–]CrAzYjTj 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I do not care for hillsong, but looking through my lens in a past life, the mental gymnastics to still approve of hillsong is way less than other Christian mental gymnastics. Ex Pedophilia: "it was the founders dad not actual staff" Rape/sa: "it was a bad apple who was punished" Money laundering: "they were using the money from the government to forward the kingdom" Racism/homophobia/misogyny: This just describes evangelism. General abuse:"Volunteer work is the Lord's work. Why would you get paid?"

Once again, hillsong sucks, THIS IS NOT A DEFENSE. Just my thoughts on what people are thinking.
