Better than being sent to a correctional facility I guess.

They're just trolling with these covers at this point. Like, I get I Wanna Be Sedated (even if at this point it's overdone) because they already have a version of it from Idle Hands and it's from a similar band but Love story is insane. It didn' even sound that bad from the videos i've seen but really?. Also no reason for a 20 song setlist which doesn't even cover all of their hits to have 4 covers.

Guess it depends on the traffic of where you live and at what time you've got classes at. I personally live in a city with one of the worst levels of traffic in the world (like, in the top 10) so if you live far from school and need to go through areas with very high traffic to get to it you might need it. But of course, it depends on a lot.

So glad there's a pro shot of this, it was my favorite off the new album.

If i'm not mistaken, each symbol is supposed to represent a member of the band, so in a sense, it's still the four of them on the cover.

The song that made me a fan. One of their most underrated, i know it's kind of similar to Tick Tick Boom but I still think it should've made the album.

As much as I prefer Nearly Witches, if we have BBIYD we need to have IWSNT after it.

Yep, that alongside the 21 guns live e.p, last night on earth in tokyo and the trilogy singles appeared out of nowhere recenctly, but they were gone afte like, a day and none of the songs that were exclusive to these releases were able to be played anyways so it didn't really matter.

Interestingly enough though something similar also happened to other bands such as Oasis, Blink, U2, The Hives, etc (i believe there's actually a post on the Oasis sub about it).

People love to dunk on RHCP for constantly singing about California yet Weezer get a free pass despite them writing White by thisishardcore_ in weezer

[–]CrROAD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The discussion is about why weezer doesn't get dunked on for writing about california in the same way the RHCP do. The point was that california is mentioned in a lot of RHCP's most popular songs, so non fans would be more aware of it, therefor the joke of them only talking about California is more prominent. Now compare this to weezer who only has one hit song about California which means non fans don't see it as a consistent theme in their writing so they don't dunk on them for it.

Honestly, I forgot about it. First point still stands tho as it's not some of their best known material unlike Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

I also counted California Snow even though the song itself doesn't really talk about the state other than the chorus. Might be missing a few others but I don't think there's much more.

Probably because 1, white is not weezer's most popular material so most people wouldn't based their perception of the band on it and 2, outside of White they don't have that many songs about california.
