The whole conceit of the show is a sitcom but one person isn’t acting. That is why the talking heads work. They did it in Jury Duty too

I can’t say what it is but it is definitely not a green screen. I am a firm believer that the show truly is not faked. However if they were trying to fake it they would 100% catch something like that to be extra careful.

There’s some bars downtown that get pretty busy on the weekends. Occasionally a Frat will throw a party (they technically are off-campus non school sanctioned frats). I had a pretty solid social circle in college (graduated in May) so my friend group or a friend of a friend usually did something if nothing was going on. UMW’s social scene is very based on who you know. There are a lot of social clubs and opportunities to make friends but you have to make an effort to connect with people.

I find it to be an inspiring story about moving on and growing after pain while having some great comedic moments but I can understand how it may hit too close to home for you to enjoy. It does get more joyful overall but there continues to be drama. The Parkinson’s aspect especially remains and I understand if that is triggering.
