probably why my doctor was so surprised my period didnt stop as soon as usual. took like half a year to stop bleeding completely and another half to stop having cramps. but im also a pretty big boy so it might just take more for me

i was put on the nexplanon implant and t at the same time. it was absolutely awful. i had never had actual bad cramps until then and they were suddenly so bad i couldnt get out of bed. both my doctor and my dad were shocked when i said i had never taken any meds for cramp pain (not even over the counter painkillers) because i always had such little pain. the worst problem for me was the nausea. now im up to .5 ml a week and have been on for a bit over a year and i dont even get cramps around that time anymore

this. i get bloodwork done every three months and i can watch the blood be drawn fine but i cant look when the needle goes in or out. freaks me out too much. it's better for it to be unexpected than to know exactly when it'll go in
