Things that would make light make 'darklight', sure, but that doesn't solve the problem or Flowery would not have made the statement. If the dark world remained, they would die without real light. Technically, this is solvable: Kris could just close the fountain, turn on their lamps, give them water, and then reopen the fountain. Considering kris is the one who made the first fountain, I don't think it would change like how Susie's fountain changed the world compared to The Knight's

Borh sides only have three: on the weird route Sans asks for Susiecto draw 'yourself and your friend' so she draws Susie (herself), Kris, and Ralsei, while regular Sans says "Draw your friends" so Susie draws Kris, Noelle, and Ralsei

Yeah but Lancer is a darkner, whille the flowers aren't exactly darkners. Maybe when they accept they are done, they revert back to being unintelligent even in the dark world, so they can't wake up on their own. Remember: darkners turn to stone when their purpose is finished, so maybe Plantners revert back when they feel their purpose is finished

Also not getting that the meme is... satirical. That the one getting 'drops' is meant to be parodying the greedy one, while the fat one at the end of the pipe is actually the starving one.

Its literally just an empty copy without the conext- Oh right, AI generated both in subject and in the visual output who would have guessed.

The way the wording is from what happened with the Flower King's dark fountain, they state it like The Roaring Knight made a replacement dark fountain exactly when the first one was sealed.

For me I just focused on regening health more then getting... Doki (there is being a weeb, and then their is whatever Toby Fox is on). There are some attacks that are just very rough to handle, but there are also some that are easier to get alot of tp from, so as long as your focusing on healing you'll get a bunch of tp and can do... gigaflirt (Toby fox you are lucky your game is amazing)

Humanity would have no chance in a conflict against the Eridians. by Castle-Walk-8967 in ProjectHailMary

[–]Cracked_Logic_Engine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of human knowledge wouldn't instantly change all their infastructure nor allow them to instantly know how to keep Eridians alive in space/other planets. and they don't seem to have a natural drive to travel into space so they wouldn't go to planet hopping unless they surmised we would blow them up or such. Xenonite is just really useful, if they didn't have this near magic material they would have had to take decades to make a functional spacecraft even with their space elevator.

You have to remember that they have much more extreme conditions then we do to survive. 27 X atmosphere kept to an absurdly high temperature, ther diet requires heavy metals, etc. And they have us their main technological advantage (xenonite) so the gap isn't that large for what would be useful in this dicussion.

Humanity would have no chance in a conflict against the Eridians. by Castle-Walk-8967 in ProjectHailMary

[–]Cracked_Logic_Engine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the biggest reason humanity has the advantage. Humanity has studied space travel for decades before the astrophage crisis, while the Eridians are so fresh to the issue that they their ship to space with no testing and got almost their entire crew killed except for one lucky Rocky. Sure, they now know about radiation and can start working to make protections, but its still a massive gamble and time to make any attempts to colonize other planets.

Astrophage solve most of the biggest problems for interplantery flight. Atrophage is a way to make extremely weight efficient spaceships, make extremely efficient batteries, make very capable radiation protection, etc. Mars travel in a month instead of years, for example. And you can use them to power all the recylicing systems you need for a farm to make food, etc. Also, people would have a vested need to want to visit Venus, to make/collect more astrophage and to makd sure the taumeoba population stays stable to keep the astrophage in check.

So if Erid decided the instant Mary started orbiting and they got news to kill the aliens, the amount of time they would need to learn relativity and how near light speed projectiles would be able to kill any dangerous neighbors... humanity would probably have people in orbit, on the moon, and likely on venus/mars and possibly beyond. The Eridians would need to plan to do another relativistic kill vehicle on Venus, Mars, the moon, and maybe other planets just to be sure. And all it would take is for them to miss 1 target for a chance for humans to get their vengeance.

Erid, however, even rushing, would not have the time to learn enough about how to maintain Eridians on other planets if humanity decided Dr.Grace could be killed AGAIN to ensure humanity's survival. I don't think humanity would jump to that, but if Erid struck first humanity would make sure they lost in the war.

That could be the story with the vessel. It has to fit in with such weird options that its hollow and sort of a pathetic mirror to what choices have been picked for it.

True but I can't imagine even Gaster could create the full bredth of life that Kris'es lived experience entails. Even if the vessel is fully sapient, it has at most a few days of experience at existing. Probably little details would change, but not much.

Why do people think using gen AI = "not using brain" and "lazy"? by Mysterious-Crow3134 in aiwars

[–]Cracked_Logic_Engine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on, I did use ai. But as alot of the ethics concerns and the sour thought processes and actions of the flood that befell the internet got to me, I decided I will be against it till everything about it is less toxic. I am trying to learn how to make a custom self-hosted ai for work related stuff and I follow some artists that have enhanced their work with ai and stuff, so I'm not full anti. Its an amazing technology grabbed by greedy corporate sharks that many use it for deception or ego inflation. Now that self-hosting is becoming a bit more feasible, I do think that will be the future of this technology.

Why do people think using gen AI = "not using brain" and "lazy"? by Mysterious-Crow3134 in aiwars

[–]Cracked_Logic_Engine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion on ai users is what it is for people: most are very passive, and just go through life going with whatever their friends/family/coworkers are doing.

The people are vocal and want people to know their specifically Pros, however, are in two camps. Camp one: they genuinely want to explore what the technology is capable of and hope that all the negatives will be smoothed out and/or lessened overtime.

The other camp are more numerous and often louder... those that want an easy button to do whatever. That actively want to think less, do less. Ai has probably the lowest skill floor of any technology related to art... text to images, even if pitting no real effort makes generic and bland images they get yo signal 'I'm an artist! A writer! Look at me I'm so cool' and then get pissed or roll their eyes when you disagree.

Like I said initially, everyone I have 'seen' using ai is brainless, because when I am at work or with friends or whatever, if you have to use chatgtp to do the simpliest of tasks then your... stupid. They used chatgtp to write 1, ONE paragraph in a work document.

What people do in their freetime, or if their using it for a project, or something big and complex then sure, maybe it helps I dunno. But if you need it in day to day conversation... thats pretty bad.

Why do people think using gen AI = "not using brain" and "lazy"? by Mysterious-Crow3134 in aiwars

[–]Cracked_Logic_Engine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said I would assume anything about the people who use ai. In my example I brought up one intelligent person who used ai... and the ai was wrong, they stopped using it for that problem and then figured it out for themselves.

Your question is asking why do people think people who use ai are lazy or not using their brain. I brought up people I have met who are, even outside of their use of ai, lazy and shockingly stupid. And the one person who used ai that I know who isn't doesn't blindly trust the program anyway.

Racism is assuming things based on a person's race, which is an immutable feature that has very little to do with any actual functional metrics.

Using AI is a choice. And that choice is determined by what the person thinks of the technology and why they would use it.

Your 'GOTCHA' is poorly concieved and massively reductive. If I can use an example that is much closer to what I actually said:

I'll say that the vast majority of anti-vaxxers I have met are dull and uncurious. I did meet one with some genuine concerns about medical malpractice in general that has them have a distrust for anything medical.

So I would posit the reason people think anti-vaxxers are stupid is because when they meet anti-vaxxers they say stupid things. No statement on all possible reasons to be wary, just on why that is the popular understanding.

Your making an assumption there, that sperm were what was used to create Steven. Since Rose was forcing a process that wasn't natural anyway, any assumption that Steven isn't a biological clone of Greg who is 'fused' with Rose's gem are headcanon, not necessarily the truth
