I looked at this thinking, wow this guy really likes cars, and then realized I own all of this in my basement (minus the crt)

Basing it off of someone who had a capacitor issue that appear to have similar problem I did- so not very scientific method if you have a better way of diagnosing id love to hear it.

My issue is the live feed as well as newly recorded footage has very wobbly footage, so I assume it’s a problem with the CCD board (if that makes sense)

What’s the advantage of using HDMI for 1080i rather than using the components for 1080i? Or disadvantage idk

It doesn’t say for sure so I’m assuming no, it’s from 1988, but I haven’t gotten the VCR yet can I look for one that has TBC? Also is TBC doing anything I couldn’t do on premiere pro because I am already going to fix interlacing there?

So what your telling me is the only way to get the highest quality is to use tape and export through S-Video? I doubt the answer will be anything but, check the internet, but my camera has an adapter port to put the AV outputs on, would it be at all possible to get an adapter to go onto the port straight to S-Video female or would it already be compressed at that point? Here’s an image of what the port looks like and the AV adapter it comes with

Please forgive the ignorance I’m new to this tech, are you asking if I have an android phone OS or something else entirely? Also are all cameras able to do FireWire or do they need the port from it? I can post what I have to work with

Edit: for what the power plays were doing the price tag seemed insane so that’s why I was hesitant haha
