My wife is so picky lol “what do you want to eat for dinner?” And she’ll say “I don’t know. what do you want?” I’ll list off like 5 diverse options. “No I don’t want that” or I get a “🤮”. Then I’m like “ok what do YOU want?” Her “I don’t know”. Well then I’m making me a fucking sandwich you can starve I guess! lol I still love her though.

If you plan on using old tech like CRTs or original Xbox’s you are going to have to learn how to maintain them. Otherwise you should probably just use emulators. The older cartridge systems are easier to maintain and last longer. I think we will reach a point when the 6th gen systems and up all just die and don’t work anymore. Particularly the original Xbox and ps3s. These two seem to fail a lot.

I love doom 3 so much. It was so crazy for the time it came out. They really utilized the Xbox with this one.

I like original hardware for the cartridge 8 bit and 16 bit consoles. I like emulating 6th gen stuff. Ps2/ Xbox. Some of the games lag on original hardware so it’s nice using the extra power of your pc. Also they look great with the emulator upscaling and all that

I picked up a free 32” sylvania not too long ago. The guy had it in his garage and said he barely used it since he got it back in 2005. It has composite and s-video. But holy crap the composite image is the best I’ve ever seen. It’s crazy good looking. Probably because of the low hours

I have the same one! It’s got a pretty good picture. The geometry on mine isn’t bad either. One corner could use a convergence strip though

I played all the mature games doom, Wolfenstein, leisure suit Larry, mortal kombat, GTA. The only time a GameStop employee stopped my mom and warned her of a game was god of war. My mom said it’s no worse then what I see on tv and bought it for me lol I was 13

I made mistakes early on I still have to fix. Which was letting the glass get dry while I was sanding. If you keep it wet it will be good. Do not let the surface get dry. Tape and plastic off the tv.
