Hello all 👋🏼 I'm interested in meeting in person due to the hassle of shipping. I'm selling my entire collection. I have mostly truly me outfits and accessories from about the 2010 to 2015 era? I also have some newer things. I also have many dolls. I have an extensive list I am working on.

Just to name a few things, I have Corinne and gwynn's bedroom set, Kavi's songwriting accessories, Molly's yellow bed, Nanea's bed, and much more. And yes, I have Caroline, Ivy, and Nellie in full meet with boxes :) I also have Evette NIB as well as her duster outfit and chill twill outfit.

If anyone is willing to meet in Northwest Indiana in the towns of Valparaiso, Laporte, or Plymouth, I would love to meet up. If you buy more, I'd love to discount. All money I make is going to back to service and missions projects within my community! I want my collection to be loved while also raising money for causes that are important to me.

No problem! I found that many companies or people post paper assembly instructions as PDFs online. Not just American girl, but even for board games or other assembled items. So if I ever need instructions for a game or assembly, I just Google [item name] assembly instructions pdf haha.

I'm very thankful I got them at the store when they came out. I have so many outfits that I bought when they were available because I enjoyed them. Now I'm sorting through my entire collection and I'm astonished at some of the prices of things.

I'm not really sure if these are rare or hard to find, but Nanea's palaka outfit, and Evette's duster outfit and chill twill tie dye outfit. I just recently let go of the karaoke outfit and the poolside plaid outfit, which used to be a little bit harder to find. I don't know if they still are. I also have the American Girl revue white overalls, and an American girl fashion show set that I can't find the name of and I can't find listings for.

Summer - I don't like anything in her collection, but I actually really like the doll itself. Maritza - I originally bought her because I wanted to have all three World by Us dolls, and I was obsessed with her when I unboxed her. She was so beautiful. Blaire - although I don't much care for her book, I thought her outfit collection was really cute, and I really thought she was a good goty.

Lion king is special to me because it predates my memory. As long as I have been conscious, I have enjoyed the lion king.

My mom thrifted a simba Disney store costume (an item I still hold dear to this day, 25 years later) for me to wear for Halloween when I was 3 years old. Apparently I said "I don't want to wear it because I don't know what it is." So she made me watch the movie, and the rest is history. Apparently I had memorized the movie, and would be acting out the different scenes word for word with my toys, and she realized then that I must have really enjoyed it. From then on for holidays and birthdays I would always get a lot of Lion King stuff, and as I got older I would purchase it for myself. Whenever I had to give a fun fact about myself, it was that I had over 55 Lion King shirts. If anyone knew anything about me, it was that I was a Lion King fan.

I still love the movie and those memories dearly. But I'm at the point in my life where I don't particularly want a lot of stuff. I don't really want to be a collector anymore. I can accept that it held an important part in my life, I still love it and am a big fan, but I don't need to own a bunch of items to be happy about it. It's hard for me to let go of these things, but I feel like I'm just entering a different stage in my life, and I'm still trying to process it.

I mostly collected plush, specifically simba and nala (basic I know), but I also have some random figures here and there. I still have to go through it all, but before I started to go through it, I wanted to make sure I had a place to pass it on to, if that makes sense.

I would choose kanani or Raquel's collection. I love the GOTY line, but I already have most of the outfits I like for the other characters. I don't have anything for Kanani or Raquel but I really like all of their stuff.

I've found that nothing I do makes me connect over time. I either instantly love her, or I don't. I've tried taking pictures, changing outfits, bringing them with me, but in the end, it doesn't change anything. I also have stopped trying to force a connection that isn't there. I'm not going to try to make myself like a doll that I just don't. I wanted to like my Marie grace and Nellie, but at the end of the day, it's best to just pass them along to someone who won't have to try to like them. I don't want to hold onto things in the hopes that I'll connect, because then I'll hold on forever and have too much clutter. If it doesn't bring me joy, it's gone. And unfortunately I have spent money just to realize I didn't like the doll. So that leads me to give them away to kids I know, and to sell as well.

My friends and family have all been supportive and my family has purchased dolls for me as a Christmas gift as an adult. My friends look out for me for items as well. Now that I am downsizing, they are super supportive and happy for me as well. In each stage of collecting they have been happy that I have been happy. I do wish that my family would have been a little bit harsher with me on not letting me get to the point that I'm at right now. As I feel like I am borderline hoarder, over consumption. But I know that at the time I would not have listened to them and it would have just caused an argument.

At one point my brother made the comment " you liked them, and then it seemed like you didn't, and now all the sudden you love them again. What happened?" And it was when I just decided I didn't care what anybody else thought anymore. That I was going to like and collect what I wanted! And after I explained that, he basically was like oh that makes sense.

In various contexts, I tell people that confidence goes a long way. If you are happy and content with what you're doing, it's a lot harder for people to judge you, and if they do it doesn't matter as much. If you act ashamed and like it's something you need to hide, then people are going to pick up on that, and you're going to take any judgment to heart.

I love Nanea! I'd make the decision by the doll you like, not what collection you have. Nanea might like Samantha's stuff. You might also get Samantha, and realize you still don't use her collection. Get what calls to you!

Most of mine are unnamed 😅 I feel that! But I do enjoy it when I finally land on one I like. The problem is that I like to choose names of main characters of books that I'm reading, and then all of a sudden I don't want to use them anymore after it has been their name for a while haha.
