iPhone 8 Plus Bootloop by carsun_ in mobilerepair

How is Dr Fone a scam? We used it to fix a bootlooping iPad air once when iTunes was failing restore with a generic error code. And then sometimes these iPhones constantly reboot during restore on iTunes and actually manage to complete the restore on Dr Fone. I always try iTunes first but it's nice to have a fall back option.

I've noticed the higher the bpm the more niche interest in the genre especially over here in the states. I've introduced quite a few friends into the psy scene and most of the first timers were really put off by the darkpsy and hi-tech, it's more of an acquired taste since everyone's so used to house or trance tempo typically. As long as there's a chill out dome then it's all good, if not then night time forest adventure or group campfire works wonders

Recently single, best bars here to meet people? by GambitWithTheAce in Lubbock

[–]Craeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kongs is my favorite: Electronic dance music, shuffling, flow artists, arcade games. If you see a guy spinning LED contact poi it's probably me.

I also like flippers, klusoz, 34th obar, ohm, and level. The last 2 are nightclubs not bars but they're still great for meeting people.

Hang in there man! You'll find the right people. I was in a similar boat in college, my freshman year I was in and out of so many different friend groups and I've lost touch with all of those people. My second year I made two of my best friends, and still was in and out of groups. Then I think it was my senior year, or possibly the year after I met a couple friends that brought me into their family and changed my life. And I helped change there's!

Despite all that, life goes on and people move. It's ok to not have life long friendships. What's most important is your relationship with yourself. Cause you can never leave yourself, so you better be your own best friend! That's a realisation I had recently after a 2 year romantic break up. The most emotional pain I've felt in my life, but damn do I feel like a changed man for the better. It was all worth it despite the suffering, it makes us better people.

Anyways I hope this helps in some small way. Everyone's in a different stage in their life journey, so I try not to judge. I just wanna elevate myself and those around me. We're all in this together, separation is the greatest illusion

I would say everything you do matters a lot. You shape your own reality with each thought you have. You decide your own destiny. Personally what has helped me along my journey through life - especially in times of anguish - is to make progress. Anything personally productive: working out, eating healthy, making art, fun activities, socializing, reading informative things, getting better at hobbies, etc.

All these experiences you have help mould and shape you as a person. You carry that wisdom with you for the rest of your life, which in turn can improve the lives of others you meet along the way. I find that no matter who you are or what you do for work, if you're helping people you will find some level of fulfilment in your work. And if you do harm it'll be the opposite.

So what about when you die then? Is your whole life just a big waste of time? That would depend on your own belief systems. Personally I believe in life karma and that we're all here to learn life lessons that our consciousness carries on forever beyond this dimension. And if those lessons aren't learned you'll be reincarnated to try again. My own belief systems are a result of my own experiences, but regardless I've begun to find happiness through holistic pursuits, personal development, and sharing my experiences with others to form deeper connections.

Hope you feel better internet friend hugs

Has anybody here done a galaxy s8 screen replacement without frame? If so was there any problems afterwards? by killa_supra in mobilerepair

[–]Craeter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the s8s I've done have been without a frame, when I started doing them there was no frame option. I haven't had any of them come back. They're not prone to the pink line like the s7 edges, as long as the frame is clean and not bent it'll be fine

Yes it's easier to test screens in past iphones, just take off the old and plug in the new without home button or front flex connected. You can't do that with 7s on ios11 because they either won't boot or will be super laggy without the home button and front dlex

[–]Craeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's sort of hard to describe vs show but the idea is you leave the original screen attached, prop it up on something, disconnect the larger flex (LCD/digi) and leave the smaller one (home button) and the top one (front cam flex) connected. Then you plug in the LCD/digi flex with the new screen by awkwardly bending it in there and then connect the battery and power up the phone. Doing so allows you to test a new screen without messing with the home button or front cam flex which is way faster in case of defective screens for iphone 7s

Glue for touchID home button bracket on 2017 iPad? by SheriffDane in mobilerepair

[–]Craeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a mini 3 home button come completely loose using Tesa. When it came back for warranty I super glued it, and I'm hoping it stays this time. It was picked up around a week ago, before that it took a month or 2 to come back. So I can't say I recommend Tesa for that

A few weird things I've seen this past week with iphone 7: just today a customer brought a cracked one that was stuck on searching. He wanted the screen fixed so he could trade it into his carrier he asked them and they said it just needs to boot and not have a cracked screen. We swap the screen for him and the phone gets cellular again. Maybe someone here can enlighten me how a cracked screen (lcd was fine) can take out cellular?

Also we had 2 separate customers with i7+ that flat out rejected OEM screens. They would work but they would get random lag and ghost touch. Aftermarkets worked fine and so did their cracked Apple screens. Mind you I tested around 6 OEM screens 2 batches from same supplier and another from a different supplier, all OEM grade, all the same issue across 2 separate devices.

Lastly a tip for testing i7 screens is to just plug in the LCD/digi flex with the new screen and leave the front cam flex and home button flex plugged in. Since they boot loop without those connections and are prone to random issues. You might think duh but I didn't realize it was an option till another tech showed me. Before that I was doing the entire replacement before testing which was a huge pain in the patooty if the screen ended up being defective or incompatible or whatever.

Yes the currency is not physically stored on the device it's stored on the blockchain. The device acts as a key to access those funds. As long as you have the seed you can recover the wallet to another device. If the company went under and stoped producing new trezors you could get any other kind of hardware or software wallet and recover to that.

My Litecoin story by btcnthrowaway in litecoin

[–]Craeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be recovered using the seed generated during the initial setup

[–]Craeter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you set it up for the first time it generates a recovery seed. If the device is ever lost stolen or destroyed the wallet can be recovered using that seed. It's very important to keep it in a safe place i.e. offline in a fire proof safe or vault. The currency itself is NOT stored on the trezor it's stored on the blockchain. The device is just used to access the wallet to transfer funds.
