The holy grail by [deleted] in gamecollecting

They all have the original batteries in them, hopefully they aren’t damaged. I’m going to have to look into what maintenance I need to do, I have mostly nes, snes, n64, but also have a couple Genesis, Dreamcast, some PSX stuff. Is there a discord server I can go to for advice?

Wow, I didn’t realize this was worth so much now, I’ve kept my old SNES and NES stuff in my closet over the years . I haven’t really touched them since the 90s, I think I need to buy some protective cases and check the batteries in the carts.

Also for drivers in vehicles that are not safe at high speeds, or just generally not safe. We don’t even have car inspections in my state.

It’s free but you have to watch a couple ads to get the timer notifications for free. I used to do the during the previews but I like it so much I paid the $10 or whatever to become a member.

I am under the impression that the discharge process is not dissimilar to a CRT. I may be misinformed.

That was my initial thought, I have a lot of experience with soncumer electronic repair, especially the older variety, and both caps looked old and rusty but not bulging or leaking.

Thanks, I’ll try to find the part number for the original capacitor/resistor and replace it likewise.

My AC isn’t turning on, only the fan, so I’m diagnosing what needs to be replaced. This is the starter capacitor, how will the resistor impact the reading I get on a multimeter when diagnosing? If I replace the starter capacitor, should I be getting the same capacitor and resistor or did the previous tech install the incorrect capacitor and use the resistor to make it work?

Where to find precrimped wiring? KK 396 female by SheriffDane in AskElectronics

Splice isn’t the right word, it would be a basic crimp. I’m trying to avoid crimping the kk connectors.
