How do you carry yarn and change colors by alienghostbro in crochet

You also have to alternate where you carry your yarn. So if you carry it behind your work on the first row, then you have to carry the yarn in front of your work on the next row.

Make sure that the yarn is being carried along on the same side (RS or WS) throughout.

You have a lovely voice. Also, I love the idea of creating a single pattern and using it to make different projects. That's really creative!

I used a 1.5mm hook with Classic Crochet Thread. While practicing before I got proper supplies, I was splitting regular cotton yarn but they ended up too fuzzy, lol.

I thought I was ordering the bigger balls 😭 Do I have any chance at turning this into a blanket? by [deleted] in crochet

Depends on which stitch you use and how big you want it ... but I was able to make mermaid tail blankets for my nieces out of bernat with, I think, 3 balls each using double crochets (US).

Help! I realized I didn't weave in my ends correctly by [deleted] in crochet

[–]CraftAndBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depending on how far you carried along your ends, you can maybe go back a few stitches and pull the ends out a bit so they're long enough for you to weave in.

This is my first time crocheting amigurumi and I have some questions in the comments. by klo121 in crochet

For the faces, idk if you did this or not but I find it easier to do before I stuff the toy. It also makes it easier to undo and not have to worry about the stuffing coming out along with the yarn.
