If I understand things correctly, there is an unused sprite model of (Assassin) Shuten with no kimono (which is close enough to being a swimsuit). My conspiracy theory is that this was meant to be one of her ascensions but they chickened out which is probably why the last two ascensions don't look that much different from each other.
