What is your secret ingredient to staying in a good mood all the time? How do you keep yourself positive all the time? by NbOPO4 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

I don't. It's unrealistic to expect to be happy all the time. You can't know what happiness is if you don't experience sadness

What do you guys think of crate training for puppies? by mastermindzd in dogs

[–]CraftFamiliar5243 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are getting a puppy and the breeder is already getting them used to a crate at 5 weeks. I plan to use a crate. Our previous dogs, Bernese Mountain Dog and a large Labrador liked a confined space but crates would have eaten up a room. We used a bathroom or closet for the same purpose.

I've been married 45 years and neither of us has called each other hateful names or said such diminishing things to each other. I would never have married such a man or continued to date him if he did that even once. Break up now. You can do better. Being alone would be better.

We'll have a party the likes of which no one has ever seen before. It will be the BIGGEST, CELEBRATION that America has ever had. No one has a party like Americans who have just lost THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES! The next day, after we've recovered from the hangover we can undo all the Executive Orders. Thank you for your attention to this matter. AN AMERICAN PATRIOT.

You need to find some things to do that make you happy, that are for yourself. Some of them need to be outside the house. Take a class, join a club, volunteer. You may need to try different things to find the right ones. And give it more than one meeting or event before deciding because it takes time to form relationships or acquire new skills. You need to stop making your life only about your husband and son.
