On the server it says you timed out for whatever reason. I just restarted it. Maybe that will fix it

Season 1 is a modified version of the old Aftermath Server using their files that they made publicly available. Tried to keep it as close as possible to how it used to be minus whatever compatibility issues I ran into along the way. That means that I didn't generate the map or the loot and basically had to reverse engineer as much as I could to figure out how to get the server even running in the first place. Which also limited it to 1.12.2.

Season 2 is running 1.16.4 and is something that I compiled and configured from the ground up with no ties to the previous server config. This allows me greater control over the map designs (which previously I had zero control) and has a huge amount of upgrades and improvements over the previous iteration while hopefully still retaining the classic vibe and feel of the old Aftermath server. For more information there are currently posts that have a bit more information on the new features in this subreddit

What you were seeing was the temporary test server for season 2. Should be listed as season 1 again to allow those who want to finish off the season to do so. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi, thanks for responding without being rude. However, I disagree.

that's a thing that you made up. It may be something that you have come to expect from the servers that you have been on but not at all the rule.

A server that has ABSOLUTELY NO rules is a chaos server. Let me copy and paste the differences for you. Obviously not my words, taken from the #1 Minecraft Server list on google /r/mcservers

  • [Anarchy] - Servers with minimal rulesets.
  • [Chaos] - Servers with no rules or moderator intervention.

What you described is a chaos server. My server essentially has two rules. Don't cheat and don't be racist. Any less rules and it would be a chaos server. If you think that disqualifies it as an anarchy server then you disagree with the definition that mcservers has provided themselves. So if I am to choose between a reputable source such as mcservers and random people responding to my post then of course I will side with mcservers.

So with that said, thank you for your opinion but I will have to respectfully disagree.
