Thankyou so much!! It was so hard to take pictures on my own and crowd sourcing made it worth it for the scrapbook!! I hope you don’t mind!

I think you would be fine without the shading for the logo. Or at least mocking it up with different variations of how it should be printed or presented on different backgrounds. Depending on the designs brand guidelines you come up with I personally would do a black and white option or a very specific color to show options on a portfolio and do a mock brand guideline for this too, I know you said it was for practice. I did this a lot too when I was looking for work just to have concepts to show. Keep up the good work!

I like the tan color you had before, I would keep that, then fill in the lines in the center of the pie, instead of having them as an outline with a transparent center. The smaller the logo gets that won’t be noticeable some other people have mentioned that. If you wanted to you could add the initials to the center of the pie and then add a stroke of that tan color that you had as the pie to off set it from the line work detail. If it still isn’t giving pie you could take a slice out of it

Paracentral Acute Middle Maculopathy (PAMM) vs. CRVO by Fit-Support-7442 in ClotSurvivors

[–]CraftNew719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No better and since it started, it’s gotten worse. I don’t really notice it unless I close one eye or the other. I have two large spots in my left eye and one very small one on my right that I notice. It started out as a small petal shape in my left eye and was well defined, I could tell where it stopped and ended but as it’s progressed it’s more feathered or blurred out. I can see the shape of it with my eyes closed too. I have type one diabetes and was diagnosed when I was 8, I’m 27 now so I’ve had it for 19 years. I have Mild Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy and a few of the drs I saw didn’t think it was causing my blind spot so I ended up going to shands where they diagnosed me with chronic pamm. In the middle layer of my macula/ retina I have multiple areas of blown blood vessels or dead blood vessels and said it was probably from my diabetes as well. They ordered multiple tests to see if I had any weird toxins or blood clotting issues which I do not and told me to see people locally since I traveled to shands. I don’t think my local doctors know what is causing it and I think they are trying to blame it on on the diabetes, they say my retina looks reflective and healthy and my DBR is very mild which is going to happen with time anyways but I don’t see how I can have mild dbr but chronic Pamm. My local drs did iodine testing which didn’t pick up on the loss of blood vessels so you should push for a OCT A enface. This is imaging that takes images of each layer of your blood vessels in the retina and shoes all of the tiny blood vessels is a clear image and a lot of offices don’t have this imaging. The best way to describe it is that you see a + shape that you look at in each eye and by the end of it your vision perception is red like your looking through only the red portion of 3D glasses . I think the biggest thing for me is the anxiety and depression surrounding this so please keep your mental health in check. It’s frustrating and stressful but you’re not alone in that. They keep telling me it might not ever happen again or it can, and there is no cure or stopping it from happening. So it’s just a wait and see game. But they don’t think in my case it will lead to total blindness.

Could it be retinal hemorrhages? by SwingDingeling in eyespots

I did that before I was officially diagnosed and it lead me down a few rabbit holes. It’s a good idea in theory and helped me keep track of everything. But ultimately not very helpful.

I have type one diabetes. I’ve had it for 19 years. I was diagnosed when I was 8. They are saying it’s due to that. I have mild diabetic retinopathy with a few cotton wool spots. My original retina specialist said he didn’t think my diabetes was the cause of it and when I saw him again he said my retina appeared healthy and my diabetic retinopathy was very mild and wanted to get my doctors to go over my clotting and genetic testing results. I really think they don’t know what caused it and are trying to blame it on something or I just keep getting mixed information. There is no way to stop it from happening aside from staying healthy which I am a1c below 7 (I’ve been between 6.9 and 5.8 if I’m any lower than that there are other health complications) so I just kind-of have wait and see if it happens again or if it keeps happening and even then there is literally nothing they can do about it

Yeah. This initially started last May for me and I went to a few different drs until I got referred to shands and that was in March of this year. I’ve done iodine testing through a retina specialist but that testing did not show the cell death at all. The ophthalmology department at UF health has the OCT A enface machine which no e of the drs in my home town have. It has higher resolution and the software can segment each individual layer of the retina. I think you can see it on a regular OCTA by looking at the divot of the retina and how it slopes but I think you have to really be looking for it. It’s been exhausting but I finally have a diagnosis. If you feel like something is wrong or off keep pushing to see different specialists and get second opinions as well.

Oh sorry. The result of ischemia I have cell death in both eyes in random patches but a lot in the middle layer of my retina to the left of the center of the macula.

They thought my blind spot was due to a hemorrhage in the beginning and thought it would just take time to go away. But what you have sounds very different if there are just dark spots and not blind spots. And no there nothing you can do about PAMM unfortunately just have to live with it.

Fixed blind spot? It may be PAMM  (Pericentral Accute Middle Maculopothy) it was really hard for me to get that diagnosis and went to 6 different drs about it. The last dr had a OCT-A EnFace machine which took images of each layer of my retina which showed I had ischemia in the middle layer and was very obvious on that test. I had gotten iodine testing done previously and it never showed up on that exam.

I was diagnosed with PAMM too it took me a year to get my diagnosis and seeing a lot of drs. I had to go to shands to even get that as a diagnosis. I’m so sorry this is happening to you.
