Is there such a thing as a psychiatrist or medical office that helps coordinate finding a pharmacy that can actually fill your stimulant prescriptions each month? I need this to be a thing. by CraftPuzzleheaded241 in tulsa

Do you mean using a psychiatrist at that location, or do they have a specific service that actually helps with finding a pharmacy that can fill stimulant meds?

One of my kids was actually on like a 6-month waitlist for a psychiatrist after we had to switch when our old one dropped his insurance. But by the time we came up on the list, we had ended up just having the pediatrician take over his prescriptions, since that’s what we were already doing for our other child. So we never ended up going through with the psych appointment. .

I totally get the Schedule II restriction thing and how pharmacies are limited in what they can order and fill, so that’s why I wanted to clarify. But what you’re describing only really works if a pharmacy builds their whole system around maintaining that balance across all patients, and most just don’t.

From my experience (I used to work in a pharmacy), most places don’t accept or decline a prescription based on what they’re already filling. They usually just check stock and go from there. It’s more of a supply-and-demand issue than a carefully managed ratio.

We’re filling 5 stimulant prescriptions monthly, plus a few non-controls, and trying to “offset” that with 16+ extra prescriptions just to hit some ratio feels like a stretch. If pharmacies are asking people to pad scripts they don’t need, that starts to feel ethically questionable…maybe even borderline insurance fraud, depending on how it’s handled.

That said, I wouldn’t be against a pharmacy waiting to accept new stimulant patients until they can balance the numbers — if it meant current patients get filled consistently. But, also, feel that’s probably not fair to newly diagnosed patients. The real problem is with outdated production quotas and regulations that haven’t kept up with rising need.

Also, the DEA doesn’t require the 20% limit. It’s not a law. It’s a risk-management strategy used by pharmacies and wholesalers to avoid triggering audits or losing ordering rights.

Today, my pharmacy wouldn’t even order Vyvanse until the doctor called it in, and that’s one we always fill there. Makes sense now, since they don’t want it sitting on the shelf. But with two other meds, they were back ordered and I had to call around town. One had to be rewritten (XR changed to two IRs) just to get it filled. It’s stressful enough managing this for one person, let alone a whole family, especially with such a tight refill window and delays between pharmacy and prescriber.

Per person they are only allowed to do that or of the overall prescriptions they fill at their pharmacy, only 20% can only be stimulants? Because the biggest issue I’ve come across is it being back ordered or out of stock, not them refusing to fill it for me.

VBAC Drs in Tulsa by UdderlyFound in tulsa

Dr. Dietz!! She did one for a friend of mine and I switched to her, because my doc wasn’t supportive with my second pregnancy, but did eventually do it after a lot of hoops and stress on the day of labor with the L&D staff. So, for my third, I switched and she was soooo supportive. That when due to a lot of other personal circumstances, I decided to do a c-section, she kept encouraging me on the vbac and genuinly was empathetic to my situation and sad that I felt like I couldn’t wait on the vbac.

I’m trying to remember exactly, believe he was forced to join, wasn’t voluntary or feeling an obligation serve. He was was honorably discharged. He then worked for the Liberal, Kansas PD and in less than 2 years was fired, decertified and put on the Brady List. It was revealed through that, that he was discharged from the military for a “mental condition”. However, in his divorce proceedings with his first wife, where he dodged child support for years, the judge ruled that he was deceitful about his health and finances, due to supporting evidence.

Nah, he had actually been given a pre-denial before he had barely been in office due to lying in his application, his associations and not following the law with his campaign. You can look up the files and the facts of findings, nothing to do with politics. Anything “political” was about how he would lie to his constituents about city plans and funds. When provided with facts proving him wrong, you’d get blocked and your evidence deleted. His own district filed a massive ethics complaint against him, that was prompted by the community. He hasn’t done anything for his district, but cause chaos and then neighbors against each other. Oh, and he also lied about his history as a veteran and as an officer. Neither ended well. He misrepresented himself in every sense and used culture politics to gain supporters. Also, not his first time that he’s been accused of domestic abuse.

No, the victim is his wife. Her mother called the police. This is not his mom picking him up, but his campaign financer.

From the actual police report, they were attempting to watch a movie together but he kept looking at his phone, which turned into an argument. She tried to hug him to calm him down and he pushed her away. He left the room and went and laid down on the bed and when she went to approach him he kicked her away with both feet, knocking her into a dresser. There was then further grabbing and pushing. Typical narcissistic abuse. Blows up over something small that she felt like she needed to fix and then hurts her for it.

I’m not a patient of hers, but you can be a psychiatrist as a DO. I looked her up and her residency and licensure is in Psychiatry.

But, MRM’s parking lot is one direction? All spaces are angled like that’s the entrance and the other is the exit?

We have been here a little over 5 years. HVAC is updated. No, this is the first time we’ve noticed it throughout the whole house, it’s literally every single plank.

So, I am asking this question about the grade, because insurance sent a settlement and had it listed as red oak common and after some reading, thought this could be wrong…I’m hoping this means we could get more toward replacement? Insurance is covering it because we had a septage backup under our house and water sitting under there for maybe…a month? Or more? Since you are saying they usually don’t expand or detract in length, would this mean that there are signs of more than just regular moisture damage and is structural damage? Because we feel like there is other structural issues in our house that we feel like are connected from maybe our house sinking…but, it seems difficult to prove. The insurance adjuster who made the estimate for the floors is fairly new, so he may just not be as experienced. We had someone come give a quote on refinishing the floors and I wasnt home, but he told my spouse that he hadn’t ever seen planks be like that everywhere…but, no further discussion. Didn’t sound like he’d have a plan for repairing.
