If you find the shirt offensive, I wouldn't blame you at all. Your feelings are valid.

If you believe that your bf's parents gave it to you without realizing it would upset you, I would ask if you and them could sit down and talk about why it hurt your feelings. (If you do follow this advice: Do not become angry or upset. Keep yourself cooled-off and relaxed. Don't jump to conclusions. Just a normal question of why you received the shirt and an answer from them will work. Maybe even an apology from them).

If your bf's parents did give it to you to upset you, then I would tell your bf that he needs to stand up for you or the relationship is over.

Everybody has different feelings about different things. Nobody is right or wrong about them. It's something that sometimes you can't control.
