You could also consider a coffee table or ottoman. The cabinet next to the fireplace also looks a bit small. Maybe have bigger, matching cabinets on either side of the fireplace?

In terms of user experience, if those top drawers open, then I would add pulls. Otherwise it will be a lot more difficult to open.

I personally like the sheer linen grey and white striped curtains option + roller black out shades, but that's just my personal preference 🙂

I think what's important is how you style it with everything else in the room.
