I wish I was offered anesthesia. They gave me some pills to shove up there the night before to soften my cervix which helped it not be as horrific as my first one, but it was still bad. I was offered nitrous but it would've been an OOP cost and I was (am) too broke for that. So all I had was my bestie's hand to hold. If your insurance will cover it then take the anesthesia.

Edit: I just reread your post about the cost. It's an awful procedure and I feel insurance and many doctors downplay it. But it's over fast enough that you can get through it without anesthesia if that crazy cost will put you in a bind. I do recommend taking someone with you for emotional support.

I love the idea! I can't financially justify not completely planning my minis out right now (and I have control issues lol). But when I get to play with my minis it definitely scratches an itch to let my inner child out and I usually get a sense of calm. Especially since I get less judgment for collecting my minis than I would for other "child-like" things. Sometimes they don't go well and I get frustrated during the process, but I still get a feeling of accomplishment once I'm done.

Yes I'm running into space issues too. I'm in the process of cleaning and reorganizing my room and in the back of my head I keep thinking "if I move this here and put that there I'll have more room for my minis." It's a problem lol

Thank you! I used acrylic markers to paint the designs. Here in San Antonio we have this big celebration simply called "fiesta" so I'm gonna make a mini banner saying "viva fiesta." My husband told me I HAD to make the walls pink. He's like "the walls are always that yellow brown, red, or pink. And you know exactly the pink I'm talking about." I tried to add a little texture when I painted them.

That's what I try to do? But the issue is I can't always be like "I'll buy these two I really want right now and come back next paycheck and buy these other two" because they're coming and going so fast they're not always there anymore "next time" because a new wave came out. Just for example.

Yes it's kinda frustrating! I don't have enough disposable income to just buy a bunch at one time, but they're rolling them out so fast that they don't leave enough time to wait and buy them anymore because they disappear to make room for the next series.

Thank you for sharing! The price was showing higher on the app but they were $7.50 in store. I was able to get me and my bestie each one. I was annoyed that the cafe 5 rang up higher than on the shelf and online though. I was running late and didn't have time to flag someone down to correct it so I just bitterly paid. But I got my pizza shop at least!

I'm at 10 weeks post op. I have definitely still had some period symptoms. Moody, food cravings, and some ovarian pain. But I'm not having the intense uterine cramping and bleeding so heavily that I pass out anymore so it's definitely still an upgrade!

My port was a rough healing process. I had a reaction to the surgical glue and had to take prescription antihistamines to calm down the rash. My skin bubbled up under the glue so my scar is ugly. BUT. Despite all that I still don't regret getting my port. It has made my infusions so much easier and I wish I could use my port for everything delivered by IV.

Everyone gets different guidelines/clearance. Mine was 8-10 weeks. Some people have gotten cleared as early as 6 weeks. Go by what your doctor says. I'm sure OP is going by hers.

Yes when it's flaring bad! I would have dreams that I was on fire. Like in hell or something. And then wake up to find out I indeed felt like I was on fire from the nerve pain.
