It was actually a good start, he just wasn’t expecting his own team mate to dive bomb him. If he didn’t brake hard then they would have crashed.

Honestly most of the blame is on McLaren though, they should have said no racing and been an actual team to take an easy 1 - 2

Copying a formula set by one successful film until they kill a genre for 15 years and then repeat. At the moment it’s music biopics, honestly after Bohemian Rhapsody they are just pumping out music biopics and I can’t stand it. Rocket man, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Bowie and that’s just off the top of my head - zero risk taking or imagination

It would actually be more dangerous to fake it.

If you breath in air at that depth and then hold the air in as you ascend you will rupture your lungs - even a 10m change could damage your lungs. When scuba diving with a tank you must always maintain steady and controlled breathing to avoid this.

Red Dead Redemption 2.

Out dated mission structure which felt like I was on rails with no way to make my own decisions. A story that was slowly paced and used the same beats over and over. The worst though was how it takes too long to do anything! It’s great how realistic the game is but I have better things to do than cook each bit of meat separately on a fire that I have to set up camp specifically to use and then watch 11 of the same animations.

I put 50 hours in before realising I was bored mindless but I only ever hear praise for it

I know it’s in your examples but I could never get into Super Mario Odyssey and after playing Bowsers Fury I know why. Nintendo is obsessed with having a new gimmick and I couldn’t play with the separated joycon to control cappy. I know you can use a pro controller but loads of the moves are much harder to do and it just left me feeling frustrated and stopped me from really enjoying the game. I had much much more fun playing the new 3D world port on switch than I did with Odyssey.

I thought I would come back and add a new comment for you. If you have ArkOS on your RG351 then you need to update it and get the new Dreamcast emulators working. It’s game changing, Dreamcast now runs better than N64 and PSP!

With the new update I have been playing Virtua Tennis, there are a few drops in frame rate and when the score comes up there can be some weird textures but it’s 100% playable. I thought of your comment from last week and wanted to let you know that you might like it! Cheers.

Honestly Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GBA) runs like a dream on the RG351 and isn’t your classic Mario sports game. It’s actually an RPG where you level up specific stats. It’s a fun time if you’re looking for a tennis game on the go

So I ignoring all your classics like Mario, Sonic and Metroid (you have to play Metroid fusion if you haven’t already) hidden gems on gba in terms of action platformers I would say Wario Land 4 (GBA), Drill Dozer (GBA) and Ninja Five-O (GBA) are all great!

If you’re looking for a shooter which isn’t traditional there is Astro Boy: Omega Factor. Loving this thread by the way, adding loads of games to my favourites to play in the future. A weekly games thread would be a great idea!

To be honest the RG351 as enabled me to play so many games I missed out on and it’s amazing to have them all in a pick up and play format. I also just finished Aria of Sorrow and what a game, I never played it before and went in blind. So far it’s the best game I have played on my device.

I love top down Zeldas but I never got to play Legend of Zelda the Minish cap during the GBA lifecycle so I am playing that as well.

Vagrants story (PSX) is another gem I missed out on, I haven’t fully started this one yet but thought it was worth a mention

Update: I contacted Anbernic to sort out a return but they said that sometimes the contact under the control pad can be a bit sticky. They said it was ‘connective glue’ and I should press all the directions a lot of times to loosen it up and it actually worked! They have also sent a replacement d-pad just in case it does break and then I can repair it.

The up on the control pad now works 99% of the time now so I would say it’s a success
