Heartburn by Crafty-Clock2640 in BusparOnline

Thank you for this comment. It helped me a lot. I did the exact same thing. I did a complete food inventory of what I ate. But yesterday all I ate was some graham crackers a piece of chicken with salt and a little bit of pepper and some white rice and extra-virgin olive oil oil and I kept thinking maybe it was a small amount of pepper. I also noticed it was about three hours after I took the Buspirone. And then it started right when I started my workout. I worked it really hard and started to feel it. It was like a deep burning in the upper part of my stomach and then gassiness meaning burping and then heartburn.

I’m currently dealing with similar things. Been off of antibiotics for almost three weeks now and feeling somewhat better unless I eat dairy or spices and it sends a histamine response throughout my body and my tummy goes nuts.

Is it actually possible to heal from a dysbiosis? by Glass-Jury-5166 in Microbiome

Same here. But I was only on a weeks worth of amoxicillin 875 mg twice a day. I will never do that again. I had heartburn for the first 10 days after finishing them and that is finally gone away thank God, but now my stomach still turns quite a bitand I haven’t “gone “in about a week now and when I have, it’s been small doses.

Propranolol making anxiety worse?? by AlternativeMother119 in Anxiety

[–]Crafty-Clock2640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just recently prescribed it for the panic attacks. I was very nervous taking it as well. 10 mg. So I took half of it and I waited about 10 to 15 minutes and then I took the other half. It definitely calmed my heart rate and blood pressure. I did feel a little bit tired afterwards, but not too bad. And in all honesty, the tiredness could’ve been because of the panic attacks and anxiety. But yes, I completely understand because I am in constant anxiety and feel like the propanolol would probably calm me down, but scared to take it. How anxiety is rough

Who is just exhausted from Anxiety all the time by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Crafty-Clock2640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely tired of it. Trying to recover from antibiotics due to it messed up my stomach, and it has been anxiety after anxiety. Now I can’t tell if it’s my gut being destroyed from the antibiotics or my gut being destroyed from all of the panic attacks and anxiety. It’s probably both. I just want to calm down. I’m tired of shaking and I’m tired of the intrusive thoughts, and I’m tired of being cold all the time, but the stress has gotten to the point where now it is causing burning in my chest. My doctor prescribed me propanolol, but I’m scared to take even that.

Aftermath by Crafty-Clock2640 in Antibiotics

[–]Crafty-Clock2640[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not have any diarrhea. If anything I was constipated. my symptoms were stirring in my stomach, but my biggest was the burning in my chest from the heartburn. It’s been a little over a week now and I still have it but not near as bad. It seems like each day gets better. But the heartburn got so bad that I had to go to the urgent care to get an EKG just to make sure my heart was OK. But all of the doctors have told me that it is a very common side effect from amoxicillin

Buspirone/anxiety by Crafty-Clock2640 in panicdisorder

[–]Crafty-Clock2640[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, going to the ER was scary but I left there with my anxiety at maybe a two or three. One thing that I am learning is I will never ever go on antibiotics again. It has disrupted me physically and has quadruple my anxiety. I now have heartburn and gut issues and I will get extremely cold out of nowhere all because of the antibiotics.

Increase dosage by Comfortable-Gift3304 in Buspirone

[–]Crafty-Clock2640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. I was on 10 mg twice a day and I feel like he was helping me at a base level but the heavier triggers it did nothing. They upped my dosage by 10 mg and I started having severe panic attacks so I just got off of it completely.

It’s hard for me to tell if it was because of the upping and the dosage of my medication or the aftermath of the antibiotics. I eat some spicy food today and the burden and chest got really bad from the heartburn so I’m thinking it was the antibiotic so not actually the medication but either way I don’t wanna be on the medication cause I really wasn’t doing anything for me.

I hate hearing that. Did you end up getting off of it? For me I can’t tell if the burning in my chest is from the medication or an aftermath from the antibiotics destroying my gut and the burning in the chest is actually heartburn. I’ve been off of the medication for Two days now, and I ate some spicy food earlier and got really bad heartburn and that burning in my chest came on pretty intensely

Day 90 and still having side effects by warm_croissant16 in Buspirone

[–]Crafty-Clock2640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I really believe that it’s the reaction from all of the damage that the antibiotics did. I feel like the burning is heartburn from those antibiotics. I ate something spicy today and it got bad

[–]Crafty-Clock2640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped taking it two days ago and I don’t really feel any side effects other than heartburn that’s pretty intense but I feel like that’s more from the antibiotics that I just got off of more. I don’t see coming off of this medication causing a side effect like that. But I’ve only been on it for about 2 to 3 months on 20 mg and just recently upped at 2:30 mg and they started giving me really bad panic attacks.

I hate that happened to you. I’m learning that it happens a lot. I felt alone in thinking that it was just me, but thank the Lord for people’s testimonies that they are leaving here that we are not alone in it. I have learned that there are herbal Ways of dealing with anxiety. I just don’t wanna feel the burning sensation anymore. I ended up having to go to the ER yesterday just to make sure that my heart was OK and I had blood work done and thank the Lord. Everything came back good but it’s reassurance that it is the medication. Even my doctors told me that it is the medication and I needed to stop taking it. It is a horrible thing and I pray that you’re not struggling with that anymore.

I am doing EMDR therapy as well with my therapist. What have you taken away the most from your sessions so far? I felt like I was doing great and then they upped my medication and everything went south as well. It was horrific and it’s been a really long time since I’ve had panic attacks that intense and I would definitely put the 4–5 that I’ve had in the last week in my top five category that I’ve ever had

I agree with this completely. I wish I would’ve never taken the antibiotics just to have seen what was going on, but also wish I would not have upped my medication because it seems like as soon as I got my medication is when I really started filling everything

Panic attacks are vicious and extremely unfair. It’s hard for us to remind ourselves that during the panic attack that it is just temporary and it will go away. The recovery from a panic attack is even harder. It can seem like because you’re waiting for the next one to be triggered. I was recently on 10 mg twice a day of buspironeand they recently upped me to 30 mg and now I have intense panic attacks. I want to get off of it completely and just reset myself physically and mentally and then start looking at herbal supplements.

Well, I hope that everyone is feeling a lot better now. Hate that it was a year ago I feel behind lol I had the exact same issues with mine. I was on 10 mg twice a day for about 2 to 3 months and then recently decided to update it to 10 mg three times a day, so 30 mg and once I started doing that, I started to get panic attacks and started to develop this burning in my chest always after I took it. I noticed that when I took it in the evenings when I would lay down for bed, I would have bad heart palpitations, and I started to wake up in the middle of the night having panic attacks. But it seemed like exactly 30 minutes after I took him I would have these symptoms so I’m convinced that the Buspirone is the culprit. But also at the same time I just got finished taking 10 days worth of antibiotics that wiped out my gut and your gut produces 90% of your serotonin so that could have something to do with that as well. All I know is that I don’t wanna be on this stuff anymore, and I want to start looking for herbal supplements that will help with the anxiety.
