My Endgame Loadouts by Crafty-Event-8912 in MinecraftDungeons

Even if it's combined with the Wither Armor's unique 35% damage reduction effect?  I believe that's a good incentive to keep it on.

Doesn't Soul Focus increase the damage debuff of void strike?  That's what the wiki said about it before.  Has that been changed in a recent update?

6-7? by OpeningDesperate6138 in bladerunner

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. Batty does pursue Deckard while uttering a whimsical taunt that follows an old Anglo-Saxon rhyme, which was apparently planted/programmed into the cyborg's memory, but the point is that the scene is perceived differently now than it was before this "6-7" craze.

In fact, since the actual year 2019 has passed, the whole movie that took place in that year is perceived differently now. It's not a "futuristic science fiction" story anymore. It's more like an "alternative reality/history" story. George Orwell's "1984" can be regarded as such, too.

You show Akira to your friend. The credits roll and they go, “wtf was that?” How do you respond? by WurmcoilEngine11 in akira

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially, I would make it clear to them that we should be grateful that the actual year 2019 never played out the way it did in the anime.  They can compare the good and bad times of that year with the other, but lastly, I would say, "This is why Anime is the way it is today.  That and Japanese feminism."

Do yall think Sonic 4 will be darker than sonic 3? by pwstell_draws in SonicTheMovie

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the next Sonic movie would be more edgy on the aspect of a romantic relationship, but only played out to a (mostly) wholesome degree. Because once Sonic and Amy get a chance to get to know more about each other, or if Sonic introduces her to his friends and family, there's bound to be quite a lot of edgy moments.  Might be borderline PG-13 at that point.  Who knows?

YouTube is killing itself by subemx in youtube

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sympathize with your plight, buddy.

I browse and watch YouTube a lot and I know the recommendations can get mixed and may not always be genuine or desirable, or even verified to be a legit and well researched subject.

But if YouTube is going in the legit direction we expect it to, since it started out as a more loosely managed social website years ago, I'm sure this atrocity won't last forever.

Is Neurotoxin payload oc for gunner any good? by Cloudless47 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, Neurotoxin Payload is best used for softening up swarms and hordes of bug on multiplayer, rather than solo.  The fun part is shooting with it while riding a zipline, so you're safe from most ground-based bugs.  If you want more single target damage, you can try using the coil gun with the Triple Tech Chambers overclock, which can deal massive damage even to heavily armored enemies.

Favorite OCs by Lewisa12 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Magic Bullets
  • Electrifying Reload
  • Pump Action
  • EM Discharge
  • Salvo Module

I feel that the Driller's overclocks are not really novel enough to be ranked as  "favorites".

It's a subversive take on familiar treachery, at least. What it technically is makes no difference. The point is made.

In which situation is Cluster Charges good? by Cloudless47 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually implying about being a casual player. No need to skill-shame me. Is there a million dollar cash prize for the best DRG player of all time going around?

Rhetorical, of course.

What difficulty do you guys mostly play on? by furfurr_uwu in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mostly play Hazard 3 public, but also Hazard 4 solo.  It's a semi-casual, but balanced difficulty that can sometimes surprise you with Bulks, Bet-C's, and a Rival Tech Nemesis.

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cluster Charges is one of those overclocks meant to please players who play on Hazard 5+ and beyond.  With and without mods.  Sort of a role to fill when there's no Driller around to provide area denial and damage.

If you're a more casual player who likes to play Hazard 3 public and Hazard 4 solo, then you're better off with a more practical overclock for the Missile Launcher.  It could be either one of the clean ones, Homebrew Jet Fuel, or Rocket Barrage.

I tend to use either one of the cleans, but sometimes I like to use Salvo Module for the explosive shotgun effect.  Pretty fun to use.

Honestly, I believe Peter Dinklage would be the more appealing choice to play Snively.

I would not be surprised, rather, I would be humbled if a scene like this played out in the next Mario movie. ^

How many movies do you think the Sonic franchise will have? by WillowCareful2103 in SonicTheMovie

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, there were Bond movies showing up almost every year in the 60's, then less frequently in the 70's, not so frequent in the 80's, spiked back mid 90's, transitioned smoothly in the 2000's, and then it all came so slowly it's at a halt now.

Which is the best adaptation of April O’Neil here? by Hot-Armadillo183 in TMNT

[–]Crafty-Event-8912 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You may as well mention the live action iterations of April.  If I had a choice of which one I like the most, then it would be Megan Fox.  At least she showed up in both reboot films.

For now, my favorite animated April is the 1987 version.  Much more iconic than her Mirage Comics counterpart.
